By the time Ye's mother and Ye Qian arrived, Ye Hao had almost finished eating.
"Brother, you've eaten so early. Mom and I thought you hadn't woken up yet, so we brought breakfast for you."
Ye Qian showed them the breakfast she had brought.
"I was worried Ye Hao only had some porridge yesterday and would be hungry, so I bought some more this morning."
Gu Yi stood up and gave his seat to Ye's mother.
"Brother, if I may say, sister-in-law cares for you the most, although, of course, Mom cares for you the most too."
After speaking, Ye Qian glanced at Ye's mother and added another line.
Ye's mother and Gu Yi both smiled, but Ye Hao showed no expression.
"You look much better today than yesterday."
Seeing Ye Hao in better shape, Ye's mother finally felt relieved.
"It's okay, Mom. Don't worry. I'm strong, and I'll recover quickly."
Ye Hao didn't want his mother to worry, so he said this with a smile.
At nine o'clock sharp, the doctor came to make the rounds.
