Victor Bennett's face changed, he quickly stepped forward to help her up.
"Fiona, are you okay?" Victor anxiously checked her up and down.
Fiona Grantham forced a smile, saying she's fine, but her face was full of pain.
"I'm sorry, Fiona," Victor felt a bit guilty.
Fiona shook her head with a smile, then asked, "What happened? Why such a big temper?"
Victor opened his mouth, but didn't say anything. How could he share such an embarrassing matter with Fiona?
Fiona chuckled softly, her voice gentle, "Is there something you can't tell me? When did you become so distant with me?"
Upon hearing Fiona's words, Victor felt a surge of suppressed emotions, as if he wanted to vent them out.
"It's all because of Joanna Ramsey, that girl..." Victor, already holding back his anger, spilled everything when asked.
Fiona's eyes flickered, she glanced at Victor, her heart sinking slightly.
"Oh, that's how it is," Fiona chuckled lightly.
