"Did you make this?"
Mason asked.
He heard from his grandmother that last night's birthday cake was personally made by Bella.
However, because he couldn't swallow his pride, he didn't go over while they were cutting the cake, so naturally, he didn't get to taste it at all.
Now that he thought about it, realizing that the cake his sweetheart made with her own hands was eaten by those people made him feel immensely frustrated.
Bella Green stared at the triangular piece of cake in front of her, froze for a moment, and then became a bit embarrassed.
"Um, this one is store-bought."
After speaking, she seemed to notice the fleeting disappointment in Mason's eyes, which made her a bit uncomfortable.
"If you like it, I'll make one for you at home, okay?"
That sweet voice instantly lifted Mason's spirits, and a joyful arc appeared on his lips.
He lowered his head and found the girl smiling up at him, her tender pink lips curved into an alluring arc, incredibly... tempting!
