The seriousness on Mason Bennett's face left him at a loss between laughter and tears.
The unease and restlessness in his heart vanished completely in that moment.
"Why didn't you call me?"
Part of his anger was because she nearly faced danger.
The other reason for his cold demeanor towards her
was that she encountered danger but didn't notify him immediately.
He was her boyfriend, so naturally, he had the right to know about her safety first.
Bella Green was taken aback, then awkwardly scratched her head.
"Things were so chaotic at that time, I didn't think of it, and besides, I wasn't hurt."
She didn't even have a scratch; what would be the point of calling him?
"Next time something like this happens, you have to tell me. I don't want to be the last to know when something happens to you."
Mason's dark eyes seriously fixed on her.
Bella looked into his eyes full of concern, lost in thought for a moment, then unconsciously smiled and nodded.
"Okay."
