Bella Green watched his movements, her eyes wide, filled with a hint of anticipation.
She had been busy for over two hours, and if nothing was edible, she feared she'd have a breakdown.
Mason Bennett, holding chopsticks, under Bella Green's gaze, aimed at the steamed fish.
However, just as the chopsticks touched down, he paused.
Bella Green was slightly puzzled and looked up at him.
She saw the man's expression becoming somewhat strange, staring at the fish, tapping it twice with the chopsticks.
The stiff texture left him a bit helpless. With the chopsticks, he nudged it, and sure enough, a layer of semi-transparent fish scales was exposed.
Seeing those fish scales, Bella Green was dumbfounded and then blankly looked at Mason Bennett.
"Why are there scales?"
Mason Bennett: "..."
"Didn't you scrape off the fish scales?" Mason asked.
"Weren't the fish supposed to be cleaned by them?" Bella Green looked completely bewildered.
