"Mom, what do you mean by siding with outsiders? Isn't she part of our family?"
Daniel Green looked at her angrily, then continued, "You came to me because you want me to plead with her, right?"
Although Francesca Willis didn't like the word 'plead', she had to admit that's exactly what it was...
"No matter what, she shares our surname Green, and even if she can't do anything for the family, at least she shouldn't cause trouble, right?"
"I won't go to her. Bella Green wouldn't do this, and even if she did, you must have done something to her first."
That decisive tone left Francesca fuming.
"How can you talk like this? You believe everything she says but nothing your mother says?"
Daniel Green looked at Francesca Willis, who seemed to be making an unreasonable scene, and suddenly felt a bit exhausted.
"If she really wanted to do something, she wouldn't have waited until now. If it's true you've done something bad to her, then I have even less reason to look for her."
