Beside the floor-to-ceiling window, Mason Bennett dialed back the missed call.
The phone connected after just a ring.
"Young Master Bennett, I just got back to Brocade City. I compiled what you talked about on the way. The phenomenon you described might not be a dream."
Listening to the voice on the other end, Mason pressed his lips together in silence, waiting for him to continue.
"If it were a dream, the likelihood of having the same dream several nights in a row is very small. It's likely something you've experienced in the subconscious memory layer."
Hearing Mark Manning's words, Mason was silent for a moment, then looked toward the kitchen and continued to ask.
"Could it be related to the people and events I've been involved with recently?"
"It's related, perhaps. We should meet tomorrow."
After Mason agreed, he hung up the phone directly.
