Back at Fragrant Forest Riverside, the house was still in the state it was when the two left last night, with the cake box still on the coffee table.
Looking at the cake, Bella Green recalled how the two of them crazily ran to the civil affairs bureau last night, and couldn't help but laugh.
Behind her, a pair of arms slipped under her armpits and landed on her waist, pulling her into that broad, warm embrace.
"What are you laughing at?"
"It's nothing. I'll tidy up a bit." Bella said, raising her hand to remove Mason Bennett's hand.
She was just about to leave when the man pulled her back, spun her around, and she landed in Mason Bennett's arms again.
Before she could say anything, the man's kiss came swiftly.
With previous experience, Mason Bennett only kissed her briefly before letting her go, afraid that he wouldn't be able to control himself and do something rash with just the two of them alone.
