"Eh? What's wrong with you?"
Mason Bennett looked at her with a face full of resentment, "A verbal thank you?"
Bella Green was stunned for a moment, then her eyes turned and she said with a smile, "How about I treat you to dinner?"
This sentence successfully made Mason Bennett's face even darker.
Bella Green laughed out loud at the sight and no longer teased him, she stepped forward, wrapped her arms around his neck, and offered her lips.
The girl's proactive kiss instantly softened Mason Bennett's brow, and his mouth curved up in a smile.
However, before he could fully enjoy it, there was a smacking sound, and Bella Green quickly pulled away.
The man's smile froze halfway up.
Was that it?
But seeing the girl being so delighted, all of Mason Bennett's dissatisfaction melted away with the smile at the corner of her mouth.
"Grandma wants us to go back for dinner," he said.
