Listening to the whispers made Anna Green tremble with anger. What on earth are these people saying?
"No, it's not like that." Anna Green anxiously explained, finally looking at Vivian Thornecroft, shaking her head with tears: "Vivian, I really didn't do it."
"Sister, let's just say I asked you to bring me my wallet, okay? Whatever you say is right, does that work?" Anna Green broke down in tears, her thin shoulders shaking, evoking sympathy.
Bella Green tilted her head and smiled, "Sure, but I'm not interested in babbling nonsense."
With that, she turned to leave.
"Bella, you said you had an appointment. Why not make a phone call, otherwise, it's so late, I'd be worried if you went out." Anna Green wiped her tears and held onto Bella, her voice carrying a hint of urgency.
Bella looked at her and blinked in mock surprise, as if she didn't expect her to make such a request.
Honestly, she hadn't thought of making a call on the spot.
