Eva Nightingale was taken by him and placed on the dining chair.
Suddenly, he said coldly, "Eat."
It was Eva's first time here, and looking at the dining table, she was utterly shocked. The table was exceptionally large, round and rotating, the dishes seemed particularly lavish, yet she had no appetite.
The maids, wisely, came forward to serve Eva some soup, but unexpectedly, they were sent retreating by a cold, piercing glance from Lucas Knight.
The maids tactfully withdrew.
As if that wasn't enough, he shouted again, "All of you get out."
He's in the way here.
The maids bowed and made an exit sensibly.
Eva stared at him in a daze, truth be told, she really didn't have any appetite. Recently, her morning sickness became more severe. She didn't know she was carrying twins; she thought it was just one baby.
"Drink the soup."
