Half an hour after the interrogation, he finally found the place he was looking for.
"Hmmm, this should be the place. Tch, what a typical cliche crime base. Why am I not surprised? Shouldn't they think something new for this?"
Glenn looked at the warehouse in front of him. A warehouse with so many crates, surrounded by an iron fence, a large gate and large number of heavily armed men.
Without wasting much time, he sneaked his way to wards the iron fence and leap over without difficulty. Once he landed to the other side, he quickly used Soru and went for a cover in one of the crates.
At this time, he was considering whether to kill all of this men or just go for the money directly. But he suddenly remember that he had a quest related to his current mission.
He quickly opened the system and saw Mission Quest list.
•Hero's first fight•
Defeat 20 Drug Dealer/Gang Member
Rewards: Basic Observation Haki.
Seeing the quest, he managed to strengthen his resolve to deal with them and do a favor for the benefit of the society.
Taking a deep breath, he calm himself down and decided to take a silent approach.
Using Soru, he sneaked up to the guards one by one dragging them towards the dark side of the warehouse. He always approached them from behind and then covering their mouth before finishing them with a shot of Shigan on their necks.
On his first kill, he thought he would be disgusted in killing a human life but strangely enough, he feels nothing. It's like killing an enemy mob in a video game. He didn't know what to think to himself at that moment wether he should feel worried or he's on his way becoming a psychopath. But then he remembered that these people's hands were dirty and maybe even stained with blood so he proceeded on cleaning them up lest they harm another innocent life.
He checked his kill count.
(17/20)
'Three more to go. After that, I won't be afraid of bullets anymore. Well except for a machine gun that is. I don't think my body will be able to react with a rain of bullets in front of me. At least, not yet.'
The outside of the warehouse became eerily quiet after he 'cleaned' up the surroundings. His next task is to go inside the warehouse, kill two more guys and then take the money. The door going inside was locked. Fortunately, one of the guards he disposed off have a key card so he easily went inside without much disturbance.
He was almost got caught when he turn to the corner as he saw one of the high ranking member of the gang was about to turn his way.
"Wew, that was closed. It seems I need a diversion."
He picked up an iron bar on the floor and hurled it to the other side of the warehouse.
Clang!
"Huh? What was that?"
"I don't know, Bill. Might be a cat or something?"
"Let's go check it out. Come with me."
"Why are you so worked up?! It's just cat, maybe?"
"Come on lazy ass. Better be sure than sorry."
"Tsk, fine!"
Glenn was about to make a move and take them out when he heard another sound from an office above.
"What was that?!"
"Nothing, boss! Might be a cat or something!"
"It must've been the wind."
"Idiot! How could the wind carry a metal like that? It's should be a cat."
"Go check it out! By the way, is this all the money we collected this week?"
"Yes, boss!"
"It's getting less! We need to increase the fee, those fucking shop owners, if you don't teach them a lesson, they wouldn't know their place."
"How about the money we got from our 'white powder'?"
"It was all there, boss. It's in the three briefcase."
"Good, go check that cat out."
"Right away, boss!"
Glenn waited for a while before peeking out to check their location. All of them had their guard down as they walk towards the noise earlier and that's what he was waiting for.
Shave!
Swisssssh!
Without wasting anymore time, he use Soru and Shigan to finish the two of them with minimal sound targeting their throats.
He looked around and it seems that their boss was the only one left alive. Glenn walked leisurely towards the second floor and knocked on the office.
"What is it!?", Glenn heard the boss voice inside.
"Boss, we have a problem!" Glenn replied.
Then Glenn heard the turning of the door knob and the boss opened the door without checking. He was probably complacent about the fact that this is their base and there shouldn't be any danger but he couldn't be more wrong.
"Me!" Glenn grinned and then used Shigan to pierce his throat with his finger. It destroyed the boss' windpipe and a lot of blood kept pouring out of it. The boss clutches his throat trying to stop the bleeding but it was useless.
"Oh sorry, my bad. No villain speech for you."
Thud!
The boss collapsed on the floor with eyes wide opened as he lost his final breath.
Glenn stepped over him and went inside with his eyes shining.
"Money! Hahahaha! I'm rich!"
What he saw was a pile of 100 dollar bills rolled up. He checked the amount and he estimates that it was almost a million dollars in cash.
He gathered the cash in a plastic bag and then stored them into his internal storage. He also saw three briefcase that was coincidentally unlocked. It was probably because the boss was in the process of counting the money.
When he opened the briefcase, it was full of cash. This time, it was neatly arranged. He briefly calculated the amount and it almost made him shout for joy.
One briefcase holds 3 million dollars and there's three. So for the three briefcase, he obtained 9 million dollars in cash, enough for him to do a lot of things.
He took all the briefcase and placed them to his internal storage after checking any bugs. Who knows if there's tracker on these things and he didn't want to test if the items stored in his inventory can be tracked or not. He won't take any chances and thankfully he didn't find any.
'Hmmm.. Wait a minute. This fucker might have a safe somewhere here. If I were him, where would I place my safe?'
He scanned the surroundings and checked every nook and cranny of the room.
He was able to find the safe under his desk and it was hidden in the form of drawer.
Since he doesn't have a key or know the password of the safe, he used Rankyaku, his most lethal technique though not as quiet as shigan because of the impact, able to slice through a hard object with compressed air blades.
In the safe, he found another bunch of cash, a gold pistol loaded with bullets, some jewelry and a ledger. For Glenn, the most valuable of them all is the ledger where the transactions, connections and branches of their syndicate circle.
With the ledger, he will be able to visit places like this anytime he lacked money. He can go to the branches and earned millions in one night.
He took them all in his internal storage and decided it was time to get out of the place. He took the lighter from the boss pocket and then he grabbed a bottle of whiskey, pouring it all over the place before tossing out a lighter. He set out a fire and quickly left the place. He avoided main streets and chose dark alleys to get home.

Next morning,
Glenn returned to his daily life like nothing happened but it's obvious in his face that he was so happy and he was in a good mood. That's because his biggest problem now has been resolved.
Glenn also asked John if he knows someone who can take care of the documents for his identity.
John told him he's lucky because he indeed knew someone and she came from New York to Los Angeles for a vacation.
After they close the shop, John contacted his friend and they both made their way towards a small apartment that evening.
John knock on the door with a rhythmic pattern and then the door opened from the inside.
"Come in."
Glenn heard a girl's voice and the two of them hurriedly came inside.
Inside, he finally saw a teenager girl around 18 or 19 years old wearing a flannel jacket over her tank top. She wore a beanie and she looks like a geek who always spend time in front of the computer. She look cute though despite her style.
John went forward and gave the girl a big bear hug which she returned warmly.
"Oh my, you keep on growing, huh. How are you doing little girl?"
"Uncle John, I miss you. I'm doing good as always. How's Elle?"
"She's good. She's at home. You should visit her if you have time."
"I will, uncle. So, who's this handsome guy?"
"Oh sorry, let me introduce you, this is Glenn Peterson, the one who needs help. Glenn, meet Daisy Johnson, she'll be able to help you with the documents legally. "
"Sorry, did you just say, Daisy Johnson?"
"Yeah, do you two know each other?"
"No, this is the first time I saw him." Daisy turned to Glenn and asked, "Do you know me?"
"Uhm, No! It's also my first time seeing you. I was just distracted and didn't hear your name properly. You know, I'm just confirming if I hear it right. Hi, by the way."
"Hello, Glenn. So, what can I do for you?"
"I just needed a legitimate identity. I lost my memory and all I can remember is my name. I just needed it bad so I could kick-start a new life and not wait any longer until I remember my former identity, whatever that was."
"So you just wanted an identification to prove you exist, right? Yeah, I can do that. "
"Pretty much like that. Aside from my name and age which is 21 by the way, you can just make everything up. Of course, it should be decent and without any problems."
"Got it, so what's your personality like? I just need some reference for your profile."
"I'm a cowardly person but I'm decesive sometimes. I also love money."
Daisy, squinted her eyes staring at me. She was probably cooking some story on her mind.
"Okay, tell me what kind of documents you need right now so I can work on it right away. That way, you'll be able to get your documents as soon as possible. Just to give you a heads up, what I'll be giving you are legitimate documents and ID's. So it's not fake but it's illegal since it came from illegitimate source. I will be inserting your information to the government systems like pickles in a burger. "
"I understand and that's exactly what I needed."
"Okay, I'll let uncle John know once the documents are ready. "
"Got it, how much I have to pay for this?"
"Nah, forget it. You are uncle John's man so consider it on me."
"You sure? I can pay, really. "
"Haha, you heard the little girl. It's okay, Glenn. I know you are about to leave so consider it a parting gift from me and Daisy."
"Sigh, okay. Thank you guys. I appreciate it."
