"Right, I'm done for the day," Matthew said as he handed Dr. Muni the stack of papers. As always, the man didn't look pleased, he barely looked up. What a villain, Matthew thought.
"One hour isn't done yet. You still have seven minutes," Dr. Muni replied, motioning toward the remaining documents.
Matthew rolled his eyes and said nothing. He placed the papers on the desk and reached for another batch. Just as his fingers brushed the edge of the stack, Dr. Muni grabbed his wrist.
Matthew frowned. He tried to pull back, but the old man's grip didn't loosen.
"What are you doing?" Matthew asked.
The ghost girl floated closer, her brows drawn. "Something's weird about him. How is he so strong? Isn't he just an old man?" she hovered around Dr. Muni. "However, he doesn't smell like a Nexian at all. Actually... I can't sense anything from him at all. He should be completely normal, right?"
