Chapter 634 - Chapter 634 – Vol. 8 – Chapter 119: Operation to Annihilate the Beast God’s Remains (2)

When Morgan completed the construction of Camelot beside the Great Hollow, she also built a ritual centered on the throne and positioned twelve Holy Lance around it.

Beneath the Great Hollow slept the Beast God's remains, slain by the primordial six Sub-Bells fairies. Shiomi had once said that the divine corpse still retained activity and might one day revive.

This massive Mystic Code was created precisely to address that possibility.

Although in terms of sequence, Morgan had first used it in the Uruk Singularity against Tiamat, the Primordial Mother, that imperfect, hastily assembled version nevertheless gave her valuable experience, allowing her to handle the completed system with far greater mastery.

"Then allow me to open the door to victory."

Shiomi raised Gungnir high, shouting with sharp resolve:

"Beast God! I have witnessed your rage, understood your resentment, and seen through your regrets. Therefore, my wife and I hereby declare this: we abandon the dream pursued across millennia and end this mistaken history!"

Runes circled through the air, layering upon each other into magic arrays, all centered on the spear tip aimed at the Beast God's body.

Within the ever-burning flames, the Beast God slowly lifted its arms, moving toward Shiomi.

"Fall! 'Noble Phantasm: To Reach the Ultimate Ideal'!"

Drawing on the experience of Artoria's earlier strike, Shiomi expanded his Imaginary Noble Phantasm to its maximum range. Compared to the Holy Lance, this was ultimately no more than a Noble Phantasm mimicked through Magecraft. He never expected it to destroy the Beast God outright.

What he needed was only to carve out an opening for the true blow to follow.

A torrent of Mana erupted, clashing with the Beast God's arms and scattering through the curse-filled air.

Those arms, along with the tentacles, were repeatedly destroyed and regenerated. Before the Imaginary Noble Phantasm fully dissipated, the divine corpse lost both arms, its body tipping backward as it briefly lost balance.

"Are you ready?" Shiomi asked quietly.

"All is prepared. I await your command." Morgan extended her hand, her palm supporting Shiomi's back from afar.

"Then, before that—" Shiomi swung the spear behind him and issued an order through the communicator. "Artoria Pendragon, it's your turn!"

His voice traveled through the communicator to Ritsuka on the Storm Border's deck, reaching Artoria's ears.

"The Storm Border's deck can withstand a Noble Phantasm release. Proceed, King of Knights," Captain Nemo announced over the broadcast.

The Storm Border hovered directly above the palace where Shiomi and Morgan stood, the ideal position.

Steadying her heart, Artoria dismissed the Holy Lance and reached into the empty air, grasping the invisible sword.

A fierce wind surged through the sky currents, sweeping across the deck and nearly toppling those standing by.

As the Invisible Air dissipated, the golden Holy Sword revealed its true form for the first time in this Lostbelt world. Its radiance under the twilight sky resembled a morning star illuminating a darkened road.

"That is..." Caster stared blankly, the Star Holy Sword's light reflected in her eyes.

The King of Knights gathered the full strength of her body into the arms gripping the hilt.

Light rose from all directions, piercing through the darkness that had swallowed the land and city. The radiance converged upon the Star Holy Sword, as though the very breath of the stars existed solely to honor and amplify its glow.

The intense, purifying light left everyone on deck breathless, unable to speak.

This figure—this hero—had once illuminated an age of chaos darker than any night.

"…That is the Holy Sword that never came to be in this world. It was you, and also Mother, who as the 'Fairy of Paradise' should have offered your lives to complete the forging of that Noble Phantasm." Baobhan Sith clutched the Spell Tome tightly in her arms. "Father… Father didn't teach you any combat skills because he didn't want you to take Mother's place and carry that sacrificial fate again."

And now, that fate no longer matters. The true Holy Sword has finally revealed itself.

"The sword's name is—" Artoria Caster whispered.

She had tried speaking with this "other self" who walked a different path, hoping to understand her own fate.

"Do what you wish to do. Even if you simply live as an ordinary girl, that too is not wrong."

That was the answer the King of Knights had given her.

Gazing at the King's back now, Caster finally grasped the weight of those words. That figure was dazzling, brilliant to the point of pain, and unbearably heartbreaking. To bear such radiance alone, to keep fighting until the very end—what an impossibly difficult life that must have been.

That was why, when faced with a version of herself who had yet to begin any journey, the King of Knights could give only that answer.

—Neither path is wrong; they are merely different choices.

"This radiance is the hope of the stars, the proof of life that illuminates the world! Bear witness! 『Excalibur』!"

Light surged forward.

A thunderous roar shook the heavens.

The dragon factor was unleashed, accelerating Mana into pure brilliance. Spiraling torrents of light swallowed the Beast God's remains along with the twilight sky.

Even under that scorching impact, the divine corpse did not completely vanish. It was mercilessly cleaved in half and sent crashing to both sides.

Before the Holy Sword's radiance could fade, the remains began to regenerate—terrifying and relentless, like cancer cells reborn without end.

"RoundLance, twelve bases aligned and anchored. Rite of the Primordial Mother, open. Holy Lance of Salvation, descend as the rain that cleanses all sin!"

Morgan, who had waited for this moment, now moved to bring this long, brutal marathon of a battle to its rightful end.

Born for this. Fighting for this.

This would be her final act as Queen, to purge the calamity of Britannia.

The twelve Holy Lance split into two formations, firing toward the two halves of the Beast God's remains.

Knowing the scale of the Life Authority better than anyone, Morgan poured out her remaining stored Mana, emptying even her own without hesitation. To erase the Beast God completely, to destroy it faster than it could regenerate—that was all that mattered.

It had only brushed against the Life Authority, regenerating using residual power. Without Shiomi's maintenance, the accumulation of sixteen hundred years could not sustain it.

"Don't shoulder it alone. I'm here. Use my Mana too."

Shiomi stepped back to her side and took her hand.

Their long-synchronized magical frequencies allowed Mana to circulate freely between their Magic Circuits.

"Ha—aaahhh!"

Together, their defiant shouts erupted as the Holy Lance fired again, its light engulfing the Beast God's still-burning remains.

With the cursed divine corpse fully annihilated, an explosion burst within the Great Hollow. Flames surged upward and spread outward, sweeping across all of Britannia.
