Kaito kept watching the battle, which had somehow reversed the initial roles, and laughed.
"She's spamming the same attack like crazy, she has no sense of combat at all," he murmured before standing up and jumping toward where they were fighting.
Cornered against the wall he himself had created, Roshi finally could not retreat any further, and before he could use any kind of ninjutsu to escape, three mana Rasengan hit him at the same time, damaging him internally and forcing him to kneel in pain.
Kushina did not finish him off. Instead, she started talking like a villain destined to be defeated.
"Listen, old man, I'm not trying to disrespect my opponents, I just think the entire ninja system is idiotic and I plan to destroy it. There's no way I can take it seriously.
I have few friends, and one of them is a tailed beast, while you treat yours as nothing more than a tool, so you deserve none of my respect.
Finally, I have someone, someone who not only can resurrect me, I'm sure he also would not let me be killed in the first place. I trust him, so if trusting that I'll be fine is disrespectful, then I don't care."
Kushina said this before kneeling in front of him.
"So that's how you think?" Kaito said as he appeared behind her.
"Waaah! Kaito, how much did you hear?"
"Everything."
Kushina blushed for a moment, then put one hand on her hip and smiled confidently.
"Ah… well… it's fine, I don't care, I'm beautiful."
"And what does that have to do with anything?" Kaito tilted his head in confusion.
"Anyway, let's go, let's take him to the village first" Kaito said.
Roshi watched without understanding their exchange when he felt everything around him blur, and in less than a blink, they were in a crater in the village, right next to the unconscious Onoki.
There, the ninjas were still fighting against Sakumo, unable to advance despite the huge numerical advantage, proving why they were the second weakest ninja village, unable to overcome even a single Kage level ninja like Hatake Sakumo.
Kushina crouched beside Roshi and placed her hands on his stomach.
"Are you sure you can do it?" Kaito asked.
Kushina laughed as if she had heard a joke.
"Please, the seals of the other villages do not even come close to Konoha's, much less the Uzumaki's. Even though I don't have enough chakra to create a new one right now, undoing one is very simple."
When she finished speaking, a massive amount of dark chakra burst out of Roshi's body, and in front of everyone, the Four Tails beast, Son Goku, appeared.
"ROAAAR"
He looked like a huge red furred gorilla, with horns on his forehead and four tails swaying behind him.
"What is that?"
"I it's the Four Tails?"
"Impossible! Why would anyone release that monster?"
"Run, we have to run!"
"Don't say nonsense, the civilians and our families are behind us, if the Four Tails comes closer, everyone will die."
At that very moment,
"ROAAAR!"
Another roar, even louder than the previous one, made everyone cover their ears in pain.
"KURAMA, WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE?!" Son Goku roared.
"I'M HERE TO SAVE YOUR LIFE, YOU JOIN TASOGARE OR YOU DIE, IT'S THAT SIMPLE," Kurama replied. Even though he was not shouting, his powerful voice sounded the same to all the nearby ninjas.
Son Goku laughed.
"HA HA HA, DIE? YOU'RE GOING TO KILL ME?"
"I'M NOT" Kurama said. "DO YOU THINK I JOINED TASOGARE OF MY OWN FREE WILL? IF YOU DON'T JOIN, THEY WILL KILL YOU, AND DON'T THINK YOU'LL BE RESURRECTED."
While the two titans argued, the surrounding ninjas trembled in fear.
"I it's impossible, it's the Nine Tails, what is he doing here?" one of them murmured.
At that moment, Son Goku charged forward with all his strength like a battleship, but Kurama simply roared and struck him with his tail, sending him crashing into several buildings, which were destroyed without resistance.
Son Goku tried to form a tailed beast bomb, but Kurama shut his mouth with his massive claws and aimed his nine tails at him, forming enormous bombs even larger than the previous one, reminding him why a hierarchy existed among the beasts.
"You're saying there's someone stronger than this in Tasogare?" Son Goku asked in shock. Kurama was usually lazy and rarely fought at full strength, and there was no reason for tailed beasts to fight each other, so even though he knew the Nine Tails was stronger, he had never imagined such a difference that he could be completely dominated in just a few moves.
"Do you think I would give up my freedom of my own will?" Kurama replied.
At that moment, an energy invaded Son Goku's mind. Despite how strong this strange energy was, enough to easily penetrate his mind, Son Goku felt that he could easily reject it and it would disappear, as if it were some kind of deal.
However…
"Don't resist" Kurama ordered.
And he could only obey reluctantly.
At the same time, beside Kaito, Kushina smiled.
"It's done!"
"Then unsummon them and let's go" Kaito said.
Kushina nodded, and with a single thought, the two enormous beasts disappeared in a cloud of smoke, confusing everyone present.
Kaito ignored their reactions, took Kushina and Sakumo, one with magic and the other in his arms, and flew away from the place without anyone trying to stop him.
