Hello I'm back, thy leg is healed but I don't have molars anymore.
===BREAK===
As the stage layout work was completed, the lights throughout the opera house gradually dimmed once more.
All of a sudden, a passionate, bold, and highly penetrating female voice shattered the silence.
"Yo-ho! Hello to all the people of Fontaine!" As the shout rang out, fireworks instantly ignited across the stage, illuminating the entire venue.
Amid the blazing light, Xinyan made a dazzling entrance, cradling her beloved rock guitar.
Up in the VIP seats, Paimon completely froze when she saw Xinyan appear onstage.
"Xinyan!? She came all the way to Fontaine?"
Onstage, Xinyan wore a bright smile as she enthusiastically waved to the audience below, shouting loudly, "Dear friends, I'm a rock musician from Liyue Harbor—Xinyan!"
"I'm super happy to be here with all of you today. This is the Fontaine stop of our [Rainbow Tour Concert]!"
After a brief pause, she continued in a fervent tone, "Next, let me show you what real rock spirit is all about!"
Before the words had even faded, she coolly strummed the guitar strings in her hands. In an instant, a surging, electrifying, and utterly unique melody echoed throughout the hall—Xinyan's unmistakable sound of passion.
"It's time to rock!"
With Xinyan's shout, thunderous rock music burst forth, the intense rhythm shaking people to their very souls.
The flame effects onstage were perfectly timed, their dazzling brilliance capturing the attention of every single audience member.
In the VIP seats, Paimon had already been completely swept up in the explosive musical atmosphere.
She couldn't help but wave her hands along with the beat, her body swaying instinctively as she lost herself entirely in the music.
"Wow! I feel like I'm about to start moving along with Xinyan's rhythm!"
Shao Yun stared at Xinyan onstage as she played her rock music, listening to that powerful, rhythm-filled melody, and remarked in admiration, "Yeah… it's really infectious."
At that moment, Furina, seated nearby, rested her chin lightly on her hand, her beautiful eyes likewise locked onto the stage.
Xinyan was fully immersed in the rock music, unleashing her passion and vitality without restraint, while the carefully designed fireworks transformed the stage into something dreamlike and brilliantly colorful.
Yet a hint of worry surfaced on Furina's face as she muttered softly, "I hope those flames used for the performance don't cause any accidents…"
...
After an intense and rousing climax, Xinyan brought her heart-shaking rock performance to an end.
She stopped moving, breathing heavily, and raised an arm to wipe the sweat beading on her forehead from the sheer intensity of her performance.
Then she bowed deeply to the audience and raised her voice in thanks, "Thank you so much, everyone, for your support and appreciation!"
Right after that, she threw her arm up high and shouted once more.
"Woohoo! I hope that when you all face hardships in life, you'll always hold onto the same rock spirit as me—never give up!"
Even though many audience members had originally come to watch an elegant stage play, Xinyan's blazing enthusiasm deeply moved every one of them.
For a moment, applause and cheers erupted that rivaled those of the opera performance earlier.
Those who had stayed behind spared no effort in offering their most heartfelt praise to the rock musician Xinyan.
Seeing that Xinyan's performance had ended, Paimon in the VIP seats could no longer contain her excitement and wanted to go down and catch up with her.
"Let's hurry over and say hi to Xinyan!"
Hearing this, Furina nodded in agreement, clearly interested in meeting this passionate rock girl as well.
"I'd like to meet your friend too—Xinyan. She really is full of enthusiasm."
...
After the performance, beneath the stage, Xinyan stood with her eyes gently closed, her mind replaying every moment she had poured her energy into onstage.
Immersed in those memories, the corners of her mouth lifted unconsciously. Even now, she could still feel the fervent atmosphere and hear the wave-like cheers of the crowd in her mind.
Just then, Paimon flew up behind her and waved as she called out, "Xinyan! Long time no see!"
Xinyan snapped back to reality, turned around, and upon seeing Lumine, Paimon, and Shao Yun, her eyes widened in excitement.
"Whoa! Lumine! Paimon! And Mr. Shao Yun—long time no see! I never imagined I'd run into you again here in Fontaine!"
Paimon laughed happily, gave a thumbs-up, and praised her with a grin, "Xinyan, you're amazing now! You've become a huge star in the rock scene! That's awesome!"
Faced with Paimon's unreserved praise, Xinyan couldn't help but feel a little embarrassed.
She scratched the back of her head lightly, a faint blush rising to her cheeks as she said shyly, "Ah, it's not that impressive. I just came to Fontaine under the name of the Iridescence Tour, that's all."
"I prepared for this performance for a really long time and put in tons of effort. You could say I planned it carefully for ages—so I'm really glad I finally got to stand on this stage."
Hearing that, Paimon quickly waved her hands and encouraged her, "Don't be so modest, Xinyan. You were fantastic! And congratulations on fulfilling your long-time dream!"
Then, as if she suddenly remembered something important, Paimon pointed at Clorinde and Furina beside her and enthusiastically began introducing them.
"Oh, right! Xinyan, let me introduce you—this is Furina, and this is Clorinde. They're… kind of our friends?" Her tone grew a bit uncertain at the end.
Clorinde could be considered a friend, at least to some extent—they'd eaten together, after all, and she even called Shao Yun her master. But Furina… that was harder to define at the moment.
Clorinde quietly looked at Xinyan, her exquisitely cold features as aloof as an iceberg. She said nothing, merely giving a slight nod as a polite greeting.
After all, Clorinde was known for being taciturn, cool, and proud.
In stark contrast, Furina appeared refreshingly forthright and graceful.
"Hello, Miss Xinyan. Welcome to the Nation of Water! You're the second visitor from Liyue I've met recently—welcome!"
Xinyan immediately beamed and reached out her hand, responding with equal warmth, "Hello, Miss Furina! My name's Xinyan, from Liyue Harbor. It's great to meet you!"
Furina took Xinyan's hand, feeling the warmth and strength she conveyed, and offered her evaluation earnestly, "Hello, Miss Xinyan. I have to say, your music is truly one of a kind."
"It's completely different from conventional rock—it carries emotions that belong solely to you. That unique charm is genuinely inspiring."
After hearing Furina's high praise, Xinyan's eyes lit up as though she'd met a kindred spirit.
"Whoa! Miss Furina, you've really got a great ear! Aside from my good friends Yun Jin and Uncle Dvorak, you're the third person who's understood and appreciated my music style so deeply!"
Before her words even finished, Xinyan suddenly thought of something and clapped her hands, growing even more energetic.
"Oh! Right, right! You probably don't know Uncle Dvorak yet, do you? Hold on a sec!"
She then shouted loudly toward the surrounding area.
"Uncle Dvorak! Come over here for a moment—my friends are here! Let me introduce you!"
Soon, the sound of footsteps approached from afar.
Moments later, a figure appeared before them.
The man wore a dark red formal suit and a matching dark red top hat.
A monocle covered his right eye, lending him an air of mystery and refined elegance.
This was none other than the Uncle Dvorak Xinyan had mentioned.
Dvorak walked over briskly with a smile, waving enthusiastically as he introduced himself.
"You must be Xinyan's friends, yes? Hello there—I'm Dvorak, the organizer of the Iridescence Tour Concert. It's a pleasure to meet you all!"
As he spoke, his gaze swept across everyone present.
When his eyes finally landed on Furina, he froze in place.
His eyes widened, his mouth hanging open in sheer disbelief.
After a long moment, he finally stammered, "The… the Hydro Archon? Is that truly you? I—"
Hearing Dvorak's words, Xinyan froze for a moment before realization struck, a wave of panic rising in her chest.
"W-wait—Lady Furina is the Hydro Archon!? Did I act way too casually just now?"
"Oh no… why does this feel just like the first time I met Lady Ningguang? I can't relax at all…"
Facing Xinyan's unease, Furina merely smiled gently and waved her hand, offering reassurance. "It's alright, Mr. Dvorak—and Miss Xinyan. No need to be so nervous."
"Rest assured, I didn't find anything you did inappropriate or disrespectful. On the contrary, I think it feels much more natural and approachable this way, so there's really no need to worry."
As she finished speaking, she gave Xinyan an encouraging look, signaling for her to relax.
