Chapter 17 - Author's Update

So.

Apparently, Where The End Found Its Beginning isn't "marketable" enough.

Not "engaging," too "draggy," characters not "distinct," and the plot? "Too hard to follow."

To that, I say: good.

Because I didn't write this to hold anyone's hand through a world that demands more than just pretty faces and recycled tropes. I didn't create Nyxen to be another cardboard AI, and I didn't build this story to chase coins and contracts. I built it because I had something to say, something raw, something different, something real.

And if that's too much for the box they want me in? Then I'll break the box.

I'm not here to spoon-feed clichés or throw in an overpowered CEO just to make things "click." I'm not writing a story you've read a thousand times. I'm writing mine.

So no, this isn't for babies.

This isn't for trend-chasers.

This is for readers who can feel the ache in silence, who crave the slow burn, the emotional wreckage, and the power of something genuinely different.

To whoever said this story won't make it:

I'm not stopping.

I'm not here for your approval.

I'm here for the one person out there who reads this and whispers,

"Finally, something that speaks to me."

And to that one reader-

This story is for you.

See you in the next chapter.
