{Earth, fifteen minutes before Ella was transported into the Primordial Lotus Domain.}
Elric Vael was excited as everyone else. In his words, more excited than everyone else. Chosen as the anchor of the biggest opening ceremony on Earth—a one-in a million chance—he had already started to foresee his future in the Solaris planetary system.
'If not all the selected magical beings aren't from Earth…' he mentally commented, all while smiling widely at the filled stadium and growing viewers of his live stream.
"Ladies and gentlemen! Aren't you guys excited?" His voice nulled the cheers of the crowd. "The cosmos has selected its new group of challengers!"
Ten beams of light fell on the platform. From them, people started coming out disoriented. The crowd cheered at them, welcoming the new batch of suicider's… no… challengers.
A radiant circular room filled with pulsing veins of light greeted them—glass doors beneath, celestial runes above.
Nine of the light beams disappeared the moment the people inside came out—except the tenth, which started to shimmer slightly as the shadow of the person inside it suddenly disappeared.
'What's going on?' Elric frowned, his always present smile wavering for a moment. The crowd's cheers also waned a little.
Every gaze then fell onto the nine people under the teleportation rune. Eight males and one female.
Disappointed grunts reverberated after people realised the only Magical Girl in the group was a shrivelled old woman—widely different from the young adults they were used to imagine as Magical girls.
Elric panicked at the sight of his live viewers decreasing at an alarming rate as he mentally cried in panic.
'What to do?'
Just when he thought even the offline viewers in the stadium were going to leave, the tenth beam of light suddenly changed its hue.
A mesmerising purple rained down onto the stage, basking not only the teleportation platform but also the whole stadium and livestream, with star-shaped bubbles covering the entire area.
This phenomenon lasted for a few seconds, stunning both anchor and viewers alike, as a girl stepped out of the light. Her light blonde hair danced together with the star bubbles, coating them in a purplish golden hue.
Her hand held a half bitten apple, which she threw to the ground in the next instant as flashes of cameras swallowed her whole.
'So beautiful… like a goddess.' was all people thought, as they were captivated by her entrance. Elric quickly came to his senses, understanding the hype her entry had caused across the entire watch party livestream, and quickly infused fire again.
"Whoa… now that is a face worthy of the whole cosmos…" His statement was agreed upon by millions as the viewer count for his watch party stream started to skyrocket.
"No lie, I thought Earth was doomed again. But if looks could kill, she's already nuked the competition." His banter was followed by the excited cheers of the crowd. He glanced at his chat box, happy to see it flooding with interaction.
Hoodie4life: Black hoodie supremacy!
Masochist123: She look's happy, lol.

ChaosLover: Lol
Elric smirked at the rocketing interactions in his chat box before returning his gaze to the screen showing the new magical beings.
His gaze, together with the camera, focused on the girl, following her every action until she spotted Valeri Rodrigo, the selection coordinator and streaming moderator of Solaris.
He watched her expression remain unchanged at her first sight of a non-human, making him praise her nonchalance before choking at her uncompleted words.
"A nig—"
A single audible gasp escaped from him as he commented, "Oh… oh my… did she just…?"
Quickly, he turned that into enthusiasm as he followed comically, "WAIT. WAIT. Cut the mic… no wait, mute it…" All while keeping his eyes on the flooding chat box again.
Masochist123: YOOOOOOO
ChaosInHD: NO WAY SHE JUST SAID THAT ON HER FIRST LINE. BUT I LOVE IT.
CapHatter: @ChaosInHD No capitals, fucker.
ChaosInHD: @CapHatter OK SISSY.
FirstSupremeRacist: Haha, from now on, my throne is hers. We racist cult welcome our queen!
FirstSupremeRacist changed name to SecondSupremeRacist.
SayNotoRacism: You guys making fun of casual racism now? How disgusting. This girl looks younger, but she's already beyond redemption.
SecondSupremeRacist: #noredemption
Some were offended. A few demanded penalties—which Elric simply shrugged off. Who could penalise her? Some of them started a cancel brigade, only for it to be swiftly drowned out by meme edits, gifs, and instant musical remixes.
All of them watched the dark elf explaining the challenges to the magical beings, while the little hoodie'd racist—a name she had earned on SpaceNet—zoned out with a lazy expression on her face.
The supposed boring introduction became the most interesting moment, thanks to the characteristics of the little girl, as every camera focused solely on her ignoring the other magical beings until she was pulled into her chosen world.
Elric quickly switched to her livestream as the system words hovered on the screen, displaying the details of the dimension she had been transferred into
Realm: Primordial Lotus Domain
World Type: Cultivation Realm
Plane: Mortal Ascension Plane
"Wait… a cultivation world? Damn, this is interesting." Elric shouted enthusiastically, mirroring the feelings of the viewers. Cultivation worlds were rare—so rare that one had only appeared once in a cosmic challenge before.
And just as the chat started speculating what her first challenge would be in this desert, they saw her fall to the ground and clutch her head, tears in her eyes.
This was the first time Elric saw any expression on her face other than indifference. Then he watched as a flash of purple erupted from Ella's back and the shadow of double coloured wings appeared, connecting to her shoulders.
Her blonde hair darkened like ink soaking silk—now jet black, with violet streaks flaring through. Her eyes shimmered faintly with a purple hue, her pupils contracting into a star shape.
The user has awakened a bloodline.
With that last sentence, the system finalised the bomb and activated it—crashing it down into the chat box and igniting offline cheers. Elric clenched his fists, excitement flooding through him.
The world had birthed another Bloodliner. And he was the luckiest to be the anchor reporting it!
