"Sound the summon bell," I ordered. I was referring to no one in particular, but one of the warriors stepped forward, and headed for the bell stand.
While the clinking sound of the bell went off, I left hurriedly for my bedroom to get the Luna staff. At this point I reckoned that I would need it.
When I returned a few minutes later with the Luna staff, the hall was packed full with pack members, each of them bustling with excitement, and at the same time with worry as to why they were being summoned again.
I had half expected that after being sent a away a few hours ago, that they wouldn't harken to this call but I was wrong. They wouldn't dare disobey an Alpha obviously.
I swept the entire room in one single glance, taking note of the excitement in their eyes, brought about either by the strangers in the room, or the staff in my hand.
I focused my eyes on Dylan and Declan whose guilt-filled eyes had given way for surprise now. Their eyes met mine, and I looked away.
