Evelyn sat in the cafe. Every now and then, she would look from her left to her right. She would then lower her gaze to her fidgety fingers.
She was waiting for someone. Someone she wasn't sure if she could face.
Taking out her phone, she was about to contact Zayne when the door of the cafe suddenly pushed open. Someone walked inside and as if she knew who, she lifted her gaze, eyes falling on none other than Lincoln.
Her heart skipped a beat.
She had called, wanting to finally meet and talk to him. But she wasn't sure if she truly was ready to see him. However, she had to. It was now or never. Zayne was right when he'd said to her that it was whether she spoke to him or not, in the end, she would still have to.
Swallowing, she watched as his frozen figure walked over to the table to take a seat in front of hee.
Neither of them spoke to each other for a very long while.
