A giant wolf leapt, and as its limbs spread wide, it unfurled membranous wings—like a monstrous flying squirrel—allowing it to glide through the air.
It launched itself at the Black Hawk 2 helicopter just as it moved in for rescue.
"Tu-tu-tu-tu!!"
The crew aboard Black Hawk 2 immediately opened fire with the M134 heavy machine gun mounted at the hatch, unleashing a barrage on the beast.
But the bullets barely scratched its thick, rough hide.
Instead of injuring it, the attack only enraged the creature further.
In an instant, spikes along the wolf's body shot out like arrows, piercing both the crew and the helicopter's armor, leaving them riddled like hedgehogs.
Moments later, the mangled aircraft plummeted to the ground.
"Airwolf Ralph!"
From the last remaining Black Hawk 1 helicopter, Weaver's face went pale as she recognized the terrifying flying wolf.
Fear gripped her voice.
"Retreat! Now!!"
James, piloting Black Hawk 1 himself, yanked the controls, quickly gaining altitude before banking hard toward the eastern coastline.
He exhaled in relief as the albino gorilla and the flying wolf made no move to pursue them.
BOOM—!!
Just as the chopper reached the shore, the calm sea below erupted.
A colossal mouth—wide enough to swallow the entire helicopter—burst from the water.
A crocodile, even larger than both the albino gorilla and the flying wolf combined, emerged from the waves.
It was a terrifying 68.5 meters long, 18.5 meters high—tall as a six-story building—and weighed over 150 tons.
"Giant Crocodile Lizzie!"
Weaver's heart sank. Liz was the most massive and terrifying of the three mutated beasts.
Her thick, armored scales made her virtually invulnerable to bullets or artillery.
Even tanks were like toys to her.
The reason was clear. George, the albino gorilla, and Ralph, the flying wolf, had only been exposed to the vapor from the bio-genetic agent, so their mutations were somewhat limited.
But Liz had swallowed an entire vial of the serum in one gulp—her mutation far more extreme.
CRUNCH!!
The giant crocodile's jaws clamped down on the helicopter's tail, yanking it from the sky.
"We're going down! Brace for impact!" James yelled, panic rising in his throat.
The scene felt all too familiar. When they first crash-landed on Skull Island, it had been King Kong who took them down.
He'd survived that crash... but would he survive this one?
With a deafening crash, the Black Hawk 1 slammed into the coast.
Fortunately, the sea cushioned the impact, sparing James and Weaver from immediate death.
Still, water poured into the broken fuselage.
The two scrambled to unbuckle their restraints, forcing their way out of the wreck.
Gasping for breath, they broke the surface, gulping down the salty air.
However, as soon as James and Weaver surfaced, they were greeted by the sight of Lizzie—the giant crocodile—towering over them like a living mountain.
Her massive, blood-stained jaws and jagged fangs loomed terrifyingly close.
Faced with such a monster, they were no different than ants before a titan.
"ROAR—!!"
Just as they thought it was all over, a deafening sonic boom echoed across the sky like thunder rolling through the heavens.
A split second later, another roar erupted—louder, sharper—tearing through the air with a force that shook the sea and sky.
The sheer volume created a shockwave that churned the water into violent waves.
Buzz!!
Even from a distance, the sound overwhelmed them.
James and Weaver felt their eardrums throb, their vision spinning.
Dizzy and disoriented, they nearly blacked out.
"Ahh!!" Liz bellowed in pain, shaking her massive head.
The roar had caught even her off guard.
Abandoning the humans, she turned her huge body toward the source.
"That... that's—"
After regaining their senses, James and Weaver looked up.
A colossal four-legged dragon was descending at breakneck speed, wings spanning over a hundred meters, darkening the sky above Sona Island.
The beat of its wings stirred a hurricane-force wind that howled across the coastline.
"It's the male Indominus Rex from Isla Nublar—Miraluz!!"
Both agents gasped in unison, instantly recognizing the beast.
They hadn't expected to encounter him so soon.
Compared to the briefing data they'd seen before their mission, Miraluz had grown—significantly.
And the fact that he could break the sound barrier? Terrifying.
As the winds howled and the waves rose, the three mutated beasts—Lizzie, Ralph, and George—let out furious roars in unison.
To them, Isla Sorna was their domain.
And this dragon was an intruder.
"Giant beasts? These three look familiar..."
Jack, soaring above the island to investigate the strange activity he'd sensed through telepathy.
He had barely approached the coast when he spotted the commotion.
An albino gorilla, a flying wolf, and a giant crocodile...
"These are the monsters from the movie Rampage... but they're real? On Sorna?" Jack muttered.
"Well, what perfect timing."
He wasn't here just for curiosity.
Jack hunted powerful creatures to gather gene points—something ordinary animals couldn't provide.
Only exotic, mutated beasts like these were worth the effort.
And these three? They were practically walking treasure chests of DNA.
"Juicy targets," Jack smirked.
"Let's begin."
With a piercing screech, he locked eyes on George—the smallest of the three.
His massive wings folded in tight, and he dove like a meteor, casting a terrifying shadow over the gorilla below.
George, not backing down, grabbed the massive boulder he'd earlier hurled at the helicopter and lobbed it straight at the dragon's head.
Jack didn't flinch.
CRACK! The rock shattered on impact, sending fragments flying in all directions.
But Jack, with his skull reinforced by pachycephalosaurus genes, stood unfazed.
Not a scratch.
He stared coldly at George.
"Die."
In the very next second, Jack's steel scythe-like claws—mounted on his forelimbs—lashed out with devastating speed, enhanced by the momentum of his dive.
Like bolts of lightning, they slashed toward George's neck, aiming straight for his head.
Lightning Whirlwind Strike!
Pfff—
It was like slicing through fruit with a razor-sharp blade.
Blood burst forth in a violent spray, like juice from a ruptured melon.
One moment, the albino gorilla George had been roaring with fury—alive, powerful.
The next, his head was severed clean from his shoulders, his body collapsing in a lifeless heap.
A headless corpse thudded to the ground.
