Chapter 9 - Chapter 9: A wedding to remember,a night to cherish

The sun shone brightly on the huge glass window of the church casting a warm glow over the gathered audience. The air was filled with the sweet scent of blooming flowers and the soft strains of the string quartet. Rebecca, resplendent in her lace wedding gown, stood before Nick, her eyes shining with joy as the officiating priest, Father Michael, asked them to say their vows.

"Nick, from the moment I met you, I knew that you were someone special and the one meant for a lazy ass like mine" She joked and the audience laughed. Rebecca's voice trembled with emotion as she continued."Your kind heart, your infectious smile, and your unwavering optimism drew me in and captured my heart. Today, I promise to love you without condition, to support your dreams, and to be your rock in times of need. I vow to stand by your side through all of life's joys and challenges, and to cherish and honor you for all the days of my life."

As Rebecca finished speaking, He took a deep breath and smiled at her, his voice filled with conviction. "Becca, you are the sunshine that brightens every day, the calm in every storm, and the safe haven where I can always find peace. You are my best friend, my partner, and my soulmate. Today, I promise to love you with all my heart and soul, to support your passions, and to be your forever home. I vow to stand by your side through all of life's adventures, and to cherish and adore you for all eternity."

As Nick finished speaking, the audience erupted into applause, and Rebecca and Nick shared a tender kiss. Amy, seated in the front row with the rest of the family felt a lump form in her throat as she watched the exchange. She couldn't help but think of her own future wedding, and how she hoped it would be just as beautiful and meaningful. She glanced over at Jace, who was sitting beside her, and felt a flutter in her chest. Could she envision a future with him? The thought sent a shiver down her spine.

As the ceremony drew to a close, Father Michael pronounced Rebecca and Nick husband and wife, and the guests cheered once more. Elizabeth, Rebecca's mother, beamed with pride as she watched her daughter and new son-in-law exchange their first kiss as a married couple. She dabbed at her tears with a handkerchief, her eyes shining with happiness.

As the newlyweds made their way back down the aisle, the guests began to file out of their seats, congratulating Rebecca and Nick along the way. Amy turned to Jace, a smile still on her face. "That was beautiful," she whispered.

Jace nodded in agreement, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Definitely. I'm so happy for them."

As the evening drew close, the guests made their way to the reception which was held in the estate, Amy couldn't help but feel a sense of wonder and excitement. She had always dreamed of having a wedding like this one day – surrounded by loved ones, with the man of her dreams by her side. And as she glanced over at Jace, she couldn't help but wonder if maybe, just maybe, that dream wasn't so far-fetched after all.

As she walked holding hands with Jace to their seat, Amy was struck by the sheer elegance of the decor. The estate was filled with tall candelabras, their flames flickering softly in the dim light. The tables were set with fine china and crystal glasses, and the air was filled with the sweet scent of flowers.

Rebecca and Nick made their way to the head table, where they were greeted with applause and cheers. Amy and Jace took their seats at their designated table, where they were joined by Elizabeth and Rebecca's father, James.

As the reception got underway, Amy found herself having a wonderful time. The food was delicious, the music was lively. She seemed to notice the tension on the table they were seated at.

Jace avoided eye contact with his father and equally avoided chipping in on any conversation that concerned his father.

As the night wore on, Amy couldn't help but notice the way Jace looked at her. His eyes seemed to sparkle with amusement whenever she laughed, and his smile was warm and inviting. She felt a flutter in her chest as he reached out to refill her glass, his hand brushing against hers.

As the music changed to a slow, romantic ballad, the bride and groom stepped out to the dance floor and started dancing. Jace stood up and offered Amy his hand. "Would you like to dance?" he asked, his voice low and husky.

Amy nodded, feeling a sense of excitement and nervousness. As they made their way to the dance floor, she couldn't help but wonder what the night might hold.

As they danced, Amy felt like she was floating on air. Jace's arms were strong and gentle, and his eyes seemed to see right through to her soul. He was definitely the missing puzzle she has been searching for.

"You look beautiful tonight"He whispered. Amy smiled warmly.

"The tuxedo fits you perfectly "She said.

"Surprised at your choice,I love it"He said smiling.

"You're welcome "She said as she rested her head on his chest as they continued dancing.

As the music came to an end, Amy pulled back, her eyes meeting Jace's. She felt like she was drowning in the depths of his gaze, and she knew that she would never forget this moment.

As they settled back in their seats,Jace stands up,walks to the stage, his eyes scanning the room before settling on Becca and Nick. He takes the mic, clears his throat, his voice low and sincere.

"I've never really done this before, giving a toast at a wedding was never on my bucket list but for my sister, I'd do anything" Jace said and the audience chuckled loudly.

"Nick, Becca, I'm honored to stand here today and celebrate your love. I've known Nick for a short time and I've seen the way he looks at Becca - with a love and admiration that's inspiring to us all." He pauses, his eyes locking onto Nick's.

"Nick, I've come to consider you a friend, and I'm glad you've found your partner in Becca. But let me warn you - Becca's my little sister and I'll be keeping an eye on you."

A hint of a smile plays on Jace's lips, and the room chuckles.

"In all seriousness, Nick, you've stolen our Becca's heart, and I'm trusting you to take care of it. You two are meant to be, and I'm so grateful to have you as a part of our lives and family"

Jace's voice cracks with emotion as he looks at Becca. "Becca, I'm so proud of the woman you've become. You deserve all the happiness in the world, and I know Nick will give it to you."

He raises his glass, his eyes shining.

"To Nick and Becca - may your love continue to be the guiding force in your lives. May you always find joy, laughter, and adventure together. Congratulations, you two. Cheers!"

The guests erupts in applause and cheers as Jace takes a sip from his glass, his eyes never leaving Becca and Nick.

Becca stands from her seat and hugs her brother.

"Thank you so much Jace"She said. Nick shakes hands with him.

"You're welcome little one" He said as he gives her a peck on her cheek.

"I'll let the 'little one' slide this time"She said as she smiled at him.

They hug once more and the crowd applaud again.

Amy's eyes shone with admiration as she watched Jace give his speech and the warm shared moment between the siblings. She couldn't help but feel the love she has for him soar higher. The way he spoke about Becca and Nick, the way he cared for those around him... it all just made her heart swell with emotion.

Amy couldn't help but smile. She felt so grateful to be by Jace's side, to be the one he turned to when he needed someone.

As the reception continued, Amy found herself lost in thought, watching Jace as he mingled with the other guests. She loved the way he laughed, the way his eyes crinkled at the corners... everything about him just made her feel happy and content.

After a while, Jace made his way back to Amy's side, a glass of champagne in hand. "Hey," he said, smiling down at her. "What are you thinking about?"

Amy smiled up at him, feeling a little shy. "Just how much I love you," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

Jace's eyes softened, and he leaned in giving her a kiss. "I love you too," he whispered back.

Amy and Jace continued to dance and laugh together, enjoying every moment of the celebration. They had traveled all the way from New York to be here for Rebecca's special day, and it was clear that it was worth it.

As the reception came to a close, Rebecca and Nick made their way to the exit of the estate surrounded by cheering and applause. Amy and Jace joined in, cheering and whistling as the newlyweds made their way to their waiting limousine.

"Bye mom, Nick and I are coming over for the dinner tomorrow" Becca said hugging Elizabeth.

"Love you Jace, you too Amy" She continued hugging them.

"Bye dad"She said hugging him.

"Thanks for today"Nick said giving Jace a handshake.

"It's nothing "Jace replied.

"It was really nice meeting you Amy"Becca said.

"You too"Amy replied as they hugged once more.

As they watched the limousine drive away, Amy turned to Jace with a smile. "Tonight was amazing" she said, feeling a sense of happiness and contentment.

Jace nodded in agreement, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Definitely. I'm so glad we could be here for Becca's big day."

Amy leaned into him, feeling grateful for the opportunity to share this experience with Jace. "Me too," she said. "It's been an incredible weekend."

Jace wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close. "I'm glad we got to spend it together," he said, his voice low and husky.

As they stood there, wrapped in each other's arms, Amy felt a sense of peace and happiness wash over her. She knew that this was just the beginning of their adventures together, and she couldn't wait to see what the future held.As they pulled back from their embrace, Jace smiled at Amy and took her hand. "Ready to head back inside?" he asked.

Amy nodded, and they made their way back to the house through the crowd of departing guests. The wedding had been beautiful, and it had been amazing to see Jace's family and friends come together to celebrate Rebecca and Nick's love.

As Jace and Amy stepped into their room, they knew that they both wanted to feel each other's body close.

Jace locked the door as he watched Amy remove her shoes. He removed his tuxedo and tosses it to the nearby chair.

He was so smitten by the beautiful human Infront of him,a smile played on his lips as he watched her struggle to unzip her gown.

Amy's gown was a stunning strapped mermaid dress that hugged her curves perfectly. The fitted bodice showcased her snatched toned waist.

"Let me help you"He said as he stood behind her.

Jace's fingers traced the zipper of Amy's dress, his touch sending shivers down her spine. Amy breathed in as Jace slowly turned her to face the wall, his hands on her hips as he began to unzip her dress.

"You looked absolutely stunning today,I couldn't take my eyes off you"Jace whispered.

"Thanks "Amy replied smiling. The sound of the zipper was like music to her ears and she felt her heart racing with anticipation.

As he unzipped the gown,it slid off her shoulders, revealing the soft, golden skin beneath. As the dress fell away from her body, time seemed to stand still, the only sound heard was the rustle of Amy's dress as it fell to the floor and the beating of their heart.

Jace's breath caught in his throat as he looked down at Amy's braless back and her white lace panties.

Jace's hands roamed her back, his fingers tracing her curves. Amy felt his hardness pressing against her, and she couldn't help but want him more. She leaned back into him, her body arching toward his.

"Jace," she whispered, her voice barely audible.

"I'm here," he replied, his voice low and husky. "I've been waiting for this moment all day."

"Me too"Amy said as Jace kisses her shoulder.

As Jace's hands continued to explore her body, Amy felt herself getting lost in the sensation. She was aware of nothing but the touch of his skin against hers, the sound of his breathing in her ear.

As they stood there, Jace's lips brushed against Amy's ear, sending shivers down her spine. "You were so beautiful today," he whispered. "I couldn't take my eyes off you."

"You've said that already"Amy replied smiling.

Amy's heart swelled with emotion as she turned to face him. Their eyes met, and for a moment, they just stared at each other. The air was thick with tension, and Amy could feel the electricity between them.

Jace's hands slid up her back, pulling her closer. Their lips met in a slow, sensual kiss. Amy felt like she was exploding, her body surrendering to his touch.

As they kissed, Amy felt like she was on fire, her passion burning brighter with every touch.

Their kiss deepened, becoming more intense and passionate. Amy felt like she was losing herself in Jace's arms, and she didn't care. She was exactly where she wanted to be.

As they broke apart for air, Jace's eyes burned with desire. He starts unbuttoning his shirt as Amy went straight to his belt. His eyes never left Amy's as he was unclad in front of her. He lifted Amy scooping her up into his arms as she wraps her legs around him, carrying her to the bed. They fell onto the soft mattress together, their lips meeting in another passionate kiss.

Amy's hands roamed Jace's chest, her fingers tracing the contours of his muscles. She felt a rush of excitement as he pulled her closer, his body pressing against hers.

As they kissed, Jace's fingers traced the curve of her hips gently removing her panties.

Amy lay on the bed, her eyes locked on Jace as he knelt over her, a sly smile spreading across his face. He took an ice cube from the cabinet beside the bed in his hand, and Amy's curiosity was piqued.

"What are you doing?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

Jace didn't respond. Instead, he gently trailed the ice cube down Amy's neck, across her collarbone, and between her breasts and nipples. "oh my God!" Amy breathed as she shivered at the sudden chill, but as Jace leaned down to lick the melting ice off her skin, she felt a surge of heat.

His tongue danced across her skin, sending shivers down her spine. Amy's eyes fluttered closed and she held unto the mattress as Jace continued to explore her body with the ice cube and his tongue. It was an exhilarating feeling and she didn't want him to stop.

As the ice melted away, Jace's kisses grew more urgent. Amy's hands reached up to tangle in his hair, pulling him closer. Their lips met in a passionate kiss, and Amy felt herself drowning in a sensual desire.

As Jace slid into her, Amy gasped softly, her body arching toward his. She held him close, whispering his name in a gentle, urgent tone.

Jace's strokes were slow and deliberate, his body moving in perfect harmony with Amy's.

As they moved together, their passion built, their love growing more intense with every passing moment. Amy felt like she was soaring, her soft moans driving Jace crazy.

Their breathing quickened, their hearts pounding in unison. Amy felt like she was reaching the edge of a cliff, her body trembling with anticipation.

And then, in a burst of ecstasy, they reached the peak of their passion. Amy cried out softly, her voice lost in the sound of Jace's own passionate cry.

Jace fell to the bed next to her catching their breath, their bodies entwined, Amy felt like she was home, She knew that she would never let Jace go, that she would love him forever.

She smiled up at Jace."That was incredible," she whispered.

Jace grinned, pulling her close. "I'm glad you enjoyed it." She blushed.

Suddenly, Jace pulled back, his eyes locked on Amy's. "I love you," he whispered, his voice husky with emotion.

Amy's heart swelled with love. "I love you too," she replied, her voice barely audible as Jace's lips met her's in a soft, gentle kiss.
