" The results of the first trial are in," he announced. " Those who fought bravely and demonstrated their skills will remain in the sect. Those who hid in fear and failed to participate will be eliminated from the sect and return to their villages. "
The disciples looked at each other nervously, knowing that their fate hung in the balance. Master Su continued ," After reviewing the trial, we have decided to eliminate four disciples who failed to meet our expectations."
The four disciples who had hidden in fear during the trial stepped forward,their faces filled with disappointment and shame. They knew that they would be returning to thier villages, their dream of becoming the Jade Phoenix shattered.
" These four disciples will return to their villages and resume thier normal lives," Master Huo announced. " We wish them well in their future endeavors."
The four disciples nodded, thier heads bowed In defeat. They bid farewell to their fellow disciples and left the sect, returning to their villages with a mix of emotions.
The remaining 56 disciples breathed a sigh of relief, knowing that they had passed the first trial. Feng Wu and Jian Wei exchanged a look , proud of themselves for facing thier fears and fighting bravely.
The five masters nodded in approval, their faces stern but encouraging. " The trial has just begun ," Master Su said, " Let us proceed to the next challenge. May the strongest among you emerge victorious."
