Chapter 116 - Chapter 116 : "Battle at Doomsday High"

Seeing that Takagi Saya was truly frightened, Saeko Busujima sheathed her wooden sword and gently wrapped her arms around her. Saya couldn't hold back her tears anymore and clung tightly to Saeko, sobbing into her shoulder. Saeko whispered soft reassurances, doing her best to calm the shaken girl.

Nearby, Hirano Toda stared at the two beautiful girls hugging and muttered in his heart, "I'm scared too… I want a hug too…"

Meanwhile, Kenthelion continued to slice through every zombie that approached, his chainsword roaring. Blood sprayed in arcs, the undead bodies falling in halves around him—no hesitation, no mercy.

Then, from the right corridor of the school, two more figures appeared—Takashi Komuro and Rei Miyamoto.

They froze the moment they saw Kenthelion, his entire body drenched in zombie blood. Fear flickered in their eyes, but they stepped forward bravely.

"I'm Takashi Komuro, and this is Rei Miyamoto," Takashi said, voice steady despite the situation. "We're from Class 2-B at Fujimi Academy."

The others began introducing themselves as well.

"I'm Saeko Busujima, and beside me is Takagi Saya. We're also from Class 2-B."

"Hirano Toda. Class 2-B, too."

Everyone else stared at Kenthelion.

"I'm Kenthelion, an unemployed guy who just likes staying at home. If you're asking about this weapon, it's a chainsaw I built myself," Kenthelion said without blinking—technically lying.

Actually, he wasn't lying. He really enjoyed staying in the capital of Terra Aeterna, managing government affairs quietly.

"I... I... I... want to introduce myself too! Don't you want to know?" The silly girl acted like a child, full of excitement.

"Of course, Teacher Shizuka Marikawa doesn't need to introduce herself," Takagi said matter-of-factly.

"Mr. Kenthelion, why does an unemployed guy carry weapons? And your shooting skills are pretty impressive—you always hit the zombies' heads," Shizuka looked at Kenthelion, feeling safe being near him.

"I found this weapon on the street," Kenthelion said, glancing at the naturally goofy woman with big breasts, then smiled.

Even though Kenthelion said that, no one really believed him—especially since guns are illegal in Japan, and the gun he carried didn't look like any firearm they'd seen in books or movies.

But because of Kenthelion's skills, no one cared. Right now, violence was everywhere, and many living creatures had died only to come back as zombies.

"What should we do now? There are too many zombies around," someone asked nervously.

"How can we get out of the school? With the current situation, we need a vehicle," said Takagi seriously.

"I have a car!" a silly girl shouted cheerfully, jumping up and raising her hand.

Kenthelion heard her and was momentarily speechless.

"Is your car big enough for all of us?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Eh... eh... my car..." The girl began counting the people around her with a worried expression.

"Let's head to the teachers' office. There should be a key for the school bus there—they usually use it for competitions," suggested Saeko Busujima.

After hearing that, Kenthelion turned to the silly girl, motioning for her to lead the way. As they moved, Kenthelion slashed through every zombie that approached them with his chainsword, clearing the path with ease.

When they arrived at the teacher's office, Shizuka Marikawa grabbed the bus key quickly, and they made their way downstairs—only to see a large horde of zombies waiting below.

But for Kenthelion, these zombies were nothing. With the power of the Emperor of Mankind flowing through him, he was merely enjoying himself. He stayed back slightly, hiding the true extent of his strength.

"We can't keep fighting like this. We need to start avoiding them too," said Saeko calmly.

"They might just be sensitive to sound, but their grip strength is insane," added Takagi.

"Let's try to move out quietly. As long as we don't make a noise, everything should be fine."

"Then… who's going to test it first?" Rei Miyamoto asked.

Everyone turned to look at Kenthelion. No one said a word.

Just as Takashi Komuro opened his mouth to speak, Kenthelion stepped forward without hesitation—charging into the horde with his chainsword in one hand and a bolt pistol in the other.

Seeing Kenthelion step forward, everyone was stunned. Saeko Busujima gripped her wooden sword tightly, worry clear in her eyes—Shizuka Marikawa beside her looked just as concerned.

"Don't call him. Just wait and watch," Saeko whispered, trying to calm everyone down.

Kenthelion strode confidently into the middle of the field. Calmly, he threw a grenade he was carrying to distract the zombies nearby. He was too lazy to kill all of them himself—he'd let the Astra Militarum handle the cleanup later.

Suddenly, Kenthelion received a message from Saint Celestine through his communicator.

"Your Majesty the Emperor, allow us to deploy the Adepta Sororitas to rescue the people—especially the girls in the city. We've barely contained our rage seeing the women violated and the children abused," Saint Celestine's voice carried fierce determination.

Kenthelion smirked slightly. "Fine. Deploy the Adepta Sororitas Legion from the Gloriana, but don't interfere with me. I'm still having fun."

"As you command, Your Majesty."

After the explosions and chaos quieted down, the zombies attracted by the grenade scattered. Everyone stared at Kenthelion with a strange look—they hadn't expected him to carry grenades.

They all started running across the field. The nearby zombies paid little attention, distracted by the blast. Suddenly, a desperate voice cried out from inside the school building.

"Someone outside! Please help us! Help us!" The voice ran toward them.

The zombies, previously focused on the explosion, turned back toward the new sound and resumed their pursuit.

"Run! Run! Run!" Kenthelion shouted. He immediately grabbed Shizuka Marikawa with one hand and began shooting zombies with his Bolt Pistol.

Two zombies charging at them dropped with headshots, while the rest scattered wildly toward the school bus.

"Take Shizuka Marikawa to the school bus!" Kenthelion ordered, pushing Shizuka toward Saeko Busujima.

Saeko and Shizuka froze for a moment, watching Kenthelion skillfully cleave zombie heads and shoot them one by one. Then they hurried toward the bus.

Takagi Saya stared hopelessly at the zombie in front of her, resigned to her fate. Suddenly, her eyes widened as Kenthelion split the zombie in two with a single swing of his chain sword. She couldn't help but think he looked incredibly handsome now.

Dengan bantuan Kenthelion mereka berlari ke arah bus sekolah tanpa hambatan apapun, tapi Takagi saya berlari ke arah Kenthelion

With Kenthelion's help, they ran toward the school bus without any obstacles. But suddenly, Takagi Saya dashed toward Kenthelion.

Kenthelion sensed someone watching him from behind and noticed Takagi's veins bulging on her forehead. What's wrong with this girl? Is her brain even functioning?

"Tsundere girl, what are you staring at? Hurry and run toward the bus!" Kenthelion called out.

"You... you... you... huh..." Takagi Saya didn't know what to say but started running toward the bus.

Kenthelion thought the people in this Highschool of the Dead world all had some problem upstairs—especially those idiots earlier who were screaming while pulling zombies around. If those idiots survive, they're definitely going to be sent to the Inquisitor for making His Majesty annoyed, Kenthelion muttered inwardly.

"Sir Kenthelion, get on the bus quickly!" someone urged.

Kenthelion turned and saw everyone already boarding the bus. He ran toward it, killing any zombies that came near him.

Once on the bus, Kenthelion surveyed the almost full interior. His chain sword still dripped with fresh blood. The surviving students had all run toward the school bus. Then Kenthelion's eyes landed on a bespectacled man who was brainwashing the students.

Kenthelion immediately recognized the man—wasn't this Wisteria, the idiot from the comic? Unable to tolerate this fool's behavior, Kenthelion spoke up.

"Who sent you here?"

Everyone was stunned by Kenthelion's words. At first, they were amazed by his zombie-killing skills, but after hearing Kenthelion say he didn't want them on the bus, their expressions shifted.

Even Saeko, Shizuka, and Takagi Saya were surprised by Kenthelion's words. They disliked Wisteria too, but since he was their teacher, they had been letting him slide.

The protagonist of this world, Takashi Komuro, stood up and said to Kenthelion, clearly displeased.

"What's your problem? They're all from the same school as us! Are you saying we should just leave them to die?" Takashi Komuro shouted.

Kenthelion heard the protagonist speak and thought, Is this guy stupid? He's definitely going to the Inquisitor too later.

"Do you even know who you're saving?"

None of them realized how evil Wisteria really was—maybe only Rei Miyamoto understood. But didn't they all see Wisteria brainwashing these kids? Were they all this dumb inside the bus?
