Since the onset of the scorching apocalypse, Su Chen had been staying inside the RV, never stepping outside. Only Xiao Mei and Liu Ling'er had ever interacted with him face to face. The rest could only talk to Su Chen through the RV's glass.

A black muzzle pointed at Wang Ye.
Before Wang Ye could react, a "bang" echoed as Su Chen pulled the trigger!
Wang Ye was instantly hit and collapsed to the ground.

Su Chen had deliberately spared his life by aiming only at his lower body.
So Wang Ye wasn't killed but lay on the ground howling in pain.

Su Chen smiled with satisfaction and then instructed Sun Yuan,"Throw Wang Ye out. From now on, no food for him, and forbid him from coming back!"
Sun Yuan and a few subordinates carried Wang Ye outside.
Passing by Su Chen, Wang Ye struggled to lift his head through the pain, hoping to catch a glance of Liu Ling'er.
But Liu Ling'er's eyes stayed fixed on Su Chen and didn't look at him once.
Wang Ye's heart sank into despair.
After dealing with Wang Ye, Su Chen chatted briefly with He Wang and Sun Yuan before returning to Nomadison.
He put away the shotgun and leaned back on the sofa.
Liu Ling'er stood behind him, obediently massaging his shoulders.
"Ling'er, do you think I was a bit too harsh?" Su Chen asked with a smile.
"Not at all!" Liu Ling'er quickly shook her head and pouted,"You took Wang Ye in out of kindness, but he was so ungrateful.""If you ask me, he should have been killed right away!"
After being trained by Su Chen for so long, Liu Ling'er's heart was already tied to him. She naturally sided with Su Chen and thought Wang Ye deserved to die.
"Good, tonight I'll reward you again!"Su Chen laughed heartily and reached out to touch Liu Ling'er's cheek.
