Lisa apply for three days of leave in advance in may. Manager Gan rejected it as she said it's too early an ask her to apply again a month before. She have no choice but to fix a reminder a month before the actual date to remind herself to apply of the leave. She continue to work when the new projects are pouring in. She work on them with her team. While Simon is constantly outside meeting people and getting new projects for his company to take up on. While having lunch outside, his mind is not only about work but his Lisa. Peter who is with him see that his boss is constantly looking at his phone. He did not ask much but he waits for the next command. He glaze at the phone and see a picture of Lisa in a wedding dress. He hurry to pretend that he did not see anything and eat his lunch quietly.
Simon sits in the car staring at outside and Peter who is driving see from the mirror that his boss have something in his mind that makes him less happy today. Peter clear his throat and look at the mirror. Before he can say anything, Simon ask him as he still stare out the window.
"Peter... how do i say i want to spend the rest of my life with her? Write her a card? Send drones with the message across the sky? What do you think?"
"Well... for me. I look for the right time and right place to drop the bomb. I ask base on my instincts."
"Instincts... "
"Mr Han, you did not confess to your wife? Then in the first place how did she want to marry you?"
"It's a long story. We stared off at zero degrees now it climbing up but somehow it's not moving again."
"Mr Han... if you don't mind me saying this. Men usually capture a woman's heart on the size and strength we have."
"What size and strength?"
"Our MEN size... you know and how good we are on bed."
Simon stare at Peter. His ears turn red. Peter immediately see it and turn around.
"Mr Han! You did not preform well enough in bed?! That's why your love life is a lukewarm temperature! You need to do something!"
Just then the car behind horn at them. Peter starts driving again while Simon think of the times he show off his arm muscles. The look on Lisa's face. Is this the answer that he is looking for? Operation seducing the wife?
"Peter, later stop the car somewhere we can talk further on this lukewarm issue."
"Yes sir!"
Peter laugh when he see his boss cheering up. There is always a solution to every problem.
Lisa is looking at the mirror in the toilet. Her face is terrible as there are pimples. Her cheeks are too chubby. Her tummy is bloated. Her legs look muscular with all those running. What kind of bride will she look like. She walk back to her desk and look for diet receipts for bride or something to produce results within months. She takes out her notebook and write down the tips that other online users are doing. She look at the mirror on her desk. Flat hair, need to fix it. She look through for a solution for nice look healthy hair.
Simon return to the office with Peter still talking. Manager Gan soon comes up to the office and sit. Simon inform her that the next time, she needs to fix an appointment with Peter to see him. She did not listen to what he say but she cross her arm and ask about how the meeting go with the client. Simon is getting agitated with her attitude but he is holding back his anger. Thus he let her know the outcome. She hand over a list of appointments that she had fix for him to attend.
"Are you crazy?! My time is ..."
"We need to work hard these few months. If not we cannot provide any bonus for the staff this end year."
Simon knit his eyebrows in furious but later he relax and smile. He agree with her and ask her to return to her office. As she walk off he remind her to go through Peter before coming up to see him. Manager Gan just look at him and enter the elevator. He watch the door close and he curse under his breath.
The weekend comes and Lisa hang out in his apartment. They decided to back a cake together. Simon choose to wear a singlet to show off his muscular arm. He put on a pair of glasses to look nerdy. It works when Lisa is standing near watching him kneading the dough. He smile when he see that she is standing there with the iPad in her arms and staring at him. At that moment, she feels like she is looking at a perfect man that she dreams of. If only if he is real enough to be her husband.
