"Chaos Ring?" Sunny turned to the system screen.
{Chaos Ring: God-rank Equipment: Benefits: +100,000 in all Stats, and +10,000 in Celestial energy and attack... Extra skill: Once the Blood of the user touches it, User gains immunity to all elemental attacks in five minutes.}
A wave of shock washed over him. He was stunned.
'Such an incredible piece of equipment was on this very planet?'
He stared at Ellen in disbelief. 'How did she know about this? And how did she know people are searching for it?'
He sighed, turning his gaze toward the distant horizon. "Okay... What do you say? What should we do?" he asked, looking at Ellen.
Ellen met his gaze and answered without hesitation. "We are here for big sister. I say we look for her first... If Dad wants, we can continue on, or go home."
Sunny chuckled softly. "It's kind of funny, though... The direction you pointed is the exact direction Star is located."
He looked at the system screen, where a small blue dot marked her position on the map.
'I'm just sad I can't track the gate,' he thought.
"What about them?" Ellen asked, gesturing toward the two giants below them.
"For now, leave them... There are more important things to take care of."
He opened the new system store: 'System, do you have any skill that can help us get off this hill without drawing their attention?' he asked.
Two skills appeared on the screen:
{Teleportation: Teleport Master and two others to any coordinates 100 miles from Master's previous location... 1,000,000 Personal money.}
{Absolute Flying: Master can use the skill on himself which will allow him to fly over the giants... 10,000,000 Personal money.}
'You already removed all restrictions, which means I can fly... Wait, why am I even planning on wasting my money?' He snapped his fingers, and the space before him tore open, a shimmering tear in reality.
"Not when I can travel through space," he said with a smirk, turning to Ellen.
"Come on, Ellen, let's go." He held her hand and led her into the gateway, and they vanished from the hilltop.
_
The gateway opened two hundred miles from the hill, and Sunny and Ellen stepped out.
"Isn't that the hill?" Ellen asked, pointing toward the distant peak.
"Yep... Let's go." He held her hand tightly and moved toward the forest.
'I can't create a gateway on the exact location Star is, because I don't know the surroundings... I could move this far because I saw this spot while standing on the hill... What a bummer. If only I could get in touch with Star and let her show me her surroundings, but her Cosmic brain is down,' he thought.
_______
The group of seven sat outside the wooden house, looking at each other in surprise.
"So you're a friend of Bella?" Vancouver asked, and Star nodded.
"We are practically sisters... She told me a lot of things," Star said with a sigh. "Now she's dead."
"What do you think about her death?" Vancouver asked, his eyes fixed on Star.
"I don't get the question," Star replied, staring back at him.
"Do you think my nephew was the one who killed Bella?"
Star shook her head. "No... The Star nation's king wasn't the one who killed my friend."
"How are you so sure?" Vancouver pressed.
'Why is he asking such a question? Did he suspect her?' David wondered, his gaze shifting between the two.
"I am sure because Bella sent me a recording before she died, and also the name of the one who killed her," Star said, her voice laced with killing intent.
"...?!"
Vancouver and David were stunned.
"Where is the recording?" Vancouver asked, leaning forward.
"Why are you asking for it?" Star asked, raising an eyebrow.
"With that recording, I can clear my name and my nephew's name! I'm sure Bella would want that too." Vancouver's words came out in a rush.
"I'm not giving it to you," Star said, shaking her head. "Do you think the Star nation will believe you? Don't forget, many things can be faked... Besides, that bitch of a Queen won't even give you a chance to say anything; if she orders your head, you will be beheaded right on the spot."
Vancouver fell silent, mulling over her words. After a few moments, he exhaled:
"So Matilda has a hand in it." He sighed. "Okay then, at least I know my nephew is innocent, not that I doubted him... But can you tell me the one who killed Bella, then?" he asked.
"Matilda and Joshua killed her," Star said without hesitation.
'He is already suspicious... So he will believe. What if I add to the fire?' she thought, nodding inwardly.
"In the recording, Matilda also said she killed your nephew... Meaning, he's dead."
"WHAT?!!!!"
Vancouver shot to his feet in shock, a dense amount of celestial energy radiating from him, instantly plunging the surroundings into darkness.
"...!"
Star's five soldiers jumped to their feet, standing behind their commander, while David quickly yelled: "Calm down, Uncle Vancouver—"
"—Calming him down won't bring his nephew back!! If only my Cosmic brain was active, I could have shown you the recording... Matilda not only killed your nephew and my best friend, she was also the one who sent that missile... Think about it, can a foreign force send the Star nation's missile at your home?" Star's expression was dark.
"You!" Vancouver looked at her, his eyes bloodshot. "How do you know about the missile?"
"Of course, I've kept an eye on your nation... I can't just let my best friend's murderer go free... My nation can't strike now because we are still weak. But believe me, when we get stronger, I will personally lead my troops and attack the Star nation." Star looked up at him.
"I know the Star nation is standing because of your family's hard work, but..." Her gaze turned cold. "I won't stop until I watch it burn."
Vancouver stared at her for a moment, then looked up at the stormy sky. "I am with you... I will help you take down that kid on the throne, and you will spare the people in return... My nephew and Bella wouldn't want that much death." He lowered his gaze to Star's.
"My King will decide that." she said.
