'So, I can collect debts even from monsters?'
Lucien was truly surprised beyond belief this time.
'Wait a minute... D-Rank skill? What does that mean?'
He remembered that when he acquired the Alchemy talent or the Venom Insight skill before, the system categorized them as Mediocre and Rare, just like the skills from this world.
But suddenly, what he got from the Golden Monkey was categorized as D-Rank.
'System, show me my status!'
Feeling confused, Lucien hurriedly ordered the system, completely ignoring the conflict between Glen and Hugo.
And as soon as he gave the command, a translucent panel appeared before his eyes, filled with his information:

'Innate and Classified?'
Lucien raised his eyebrows at the new category that had quietly appeared on his status panel.
'Innate probably refers to skills found in this world… and Classified means those gained from dungeons?'
He lifted his gaze toward the massive door ahead.
From the limited memories in his head, he knew this world was filled with countless dimensional rifts—known as Dungeons.
Although he wasn't sure about most things, one thing Lucien was certain of—the monkey sitting atop Hugo Lionheart was definitely from a dungeon.
After all, the Lionheart family was a renowned viscount house, famous for controlling one of the best beast-related dungeons. Most of their members were known to awaken the Beast Master class.
That golden monkey was clearly given to Hugo by his family to help him awaken as a Tamer. And as far as Lucien knew, only items or creatures originating from a dungeon could be brought back into one.
'So… does that mean debt collection only works on dungeon monsters, or…?'
Lucien frowned, still trying to piece everything together.
"Lord Lucien, it seems there's no way to retrieve that gold now. I'm truly sorry. With the awakening ceremony so close, it's not wise to waste more time. Let's meet again if fate allows."
Just when he was lost in his thoughts, Glen bowed slightly before turning to leave. His mission had failed, and he had no intention of lingering among these arrogant nobles. He had other missions to complete.
"Yeah, yeah… don't worry about the money. I don't lack that little."
Lucien waved him off with a calm smile, his tone light and magnanimous.
Rather than fretting over a handful of gold coins, he felt genuinely grateful, especially to Hugo.
"Tch, tch… when you're rich, you can afford to be shameless."
However, Hugo didn't like the smile on his face as he began to chide him again.
"I heard you lots even managed to get an awakening quota with gold. Seriously, the Goldveil family really knows how to drag a noble name through the mud."
He spoke with hatred and jealousy clearly written across his face. Only now did Lucien realize why this guy had been aiming for him from the very beginning.
However, even though the man was spiteful, Lucien was actually in a good mood. So instead of getting angry, he simply nodded as if in agreement.
"Yeah, yeah! Whatever Lord Hugo says must be right, huh? Who am I to argue? By the way… want more gold? I still have a few coins left on me."
He even casually pulled out a coin pouch from his mana ring, causing Hugo to raise his eyebrows in surprise.
"Tsk… seems like the rumors are true. You really treat money like dirt, huh?" he replied, glancing quietly at his pet.
However, seeing that his pet had suddenly lost its earlier enthusiasm, he frowned and waved his hand dismissively.
"No need for your help. This little money… my Lionheart family doesn't lack it."
After all, he was a noble. If his monkey didn't snatch that gold, he couldn't just take it and ruin his family's name.
With that, he immediately left the place, feeling that talking to Lucien was like banging his head against a brick wall.
'Hmm… it seems to have turned sluggish after I received my reward.'
Lucien looked at the golden monkey that was lazily perched on Hugo's shoulder, barely moving.
Although he didn't know how much effect it had after he extracted +3 points of Agility from it, he did see that the effect was immediate.
'Although the system is powerful, I need to be careful.'
Lucien suddenly felt that this ability of his was like a double-edged sword. If he wasn't careful, somebody would definitely notice at some point.
'Maybe I should mostly use it on monsters instead.'
Lucien decided. He felt that unless he was strong enough, garnering too much attention wasn't good.
Although Devan's low intelligence and change in attitude might not point to him now, if he continued this way, that might not always be the case.
Besides, their family seemed to be in trouble, and someone was trying to assassinate him. So, he had to become strong and fast.
'Let's try to increase my strength as much as possible in this dungeon.'
He thought, feeling that his concerns about class awakening were swept away. Here he had been searching high and low for whom to collect debt from, and now he realized he could do so even from monsters.
Honestly, this opened up endless possibilities, and he was very excited about that.
"So, you're here? What are you doing? The dungeon is about to open. Quick, let's go."
Just when he was lost in his thoughts, Liora suddenly appeared from who knows where and nudged his shoulder.
From her bright smile and joyful look, she seemed to be in a good mood.
