"Kiana, is Miss Fu Hua's consciousness still linked to yours?" Rimuru asked casually.
"Yes, it is. Why?" Kiana replied.
"Oh, nothing serious," Rimuru said with a smirk. "I can separate her soul from your body and give her a new body—bring her back to life."
"You're serious?!" Kiana gasped and grabbed Rimuru's hand, her eyes wide with hope.
"Yeah, yeah, I'm not kidding," Rimuru said. "This kind of thing is well within my skill set. Come on, let's find a quiet place to do it." He turned and started walking away. Kiana immediately followed behind.
"Oh, right." Rimuru suddenly paused and turned back to Bronya. "You come too. I'll help Walter get his body back while I'm at it."
"Really?" Bronya looked down at her chest where the Core of Reason quietly resided.
"Understood," Bronya nodded and followed them out.
In the Hyperion's Training Room
"It might hurt a little—just bear with it," Rimuru warned Kiana.
"Go ahead," Kiana said, closing her eyes. "I'm ready."
Rimuru's hand began to glow with a strange light as he reached toward her chest. His hand phased right through her skin and into her body.
"Ahhh!" Kiana cried out in pain.
"I told you it might sting a little," Rimuru muttered, exasperated. He conjured several chains from his magic, locking Kiana in place so she couldn't move.
Closing his eyes, Rimuru focused on the sea of Kiana's spirit, carefully searching for Fu Hua's soul within.
Soon, he sensed a feather—one that pulsed with immense mental energy.
It was the 8th Divine Key: Fenghuang Down—the one that controlled brain signals and governed consciousness. It was the very key that had bound Fu Hua's soul to Kiana's and served as her spiritual anchor.
"That's the one," Rimuru murmured. He reached out toward Fenghuang Down, preparing to extract it from Kiana's body.
But just then, another wave of consciousness surged through the mental space—this one filled with malice, destruction, and cruelty.
"That must be Sirin's consciousness," Rimuru thought. "Might as well extract her too."
He reached for that malicious presence without hesitation.
"What the hell is this?!" Sirin's voice echoed in panic. She couldn't resist as Rimuru's power seized her.
Then, with a final motion, Rimuru also grabbed hold of Fenghuang Down and pulled both of them from the spiritual sea.
"Finally… success," Rimuru exhaled, wiping imaginary sweat from his brow.
In his hand was a feather hovering between illusion and reality, glowing softly and radiating a calming aura. Next to it hovered a dark red mass of light, tightly sealed by Rimuru's power.
Rimuru glanced at the unconscious Kiana lying on the floor, shook his head, then summoned a large bed from his Guild's storage. He gently placed Kiana on it and covered her with a blanket.
"She's going to be okay, right?" Bronya asked from the side.
"No worries," Rimuru assured her. "She just needs to rest. And when she wakes up, she's in for a big surprise."
Now free from Sirin's consciousness, Kiana only needed some training to fully master the power of the Herrscher of the Void. At that point, she would become the true Queen of the Void—Kiana.
"Bronya doesn't quite understand," Bronya said, a little puzzled.
"It's fine if you don't get it now. You'll see for yourself soon enough. Anyway, hand me the Core of Reason."
"Okay. I'm counting on you." Bronya handed the core over to Rimuru.
"Relax, this is nothing." Rimuru grinned confidently. This kind of task was child's play for him.
He took Fenghuang Down and the Core of Reason, wrapped them with a portion of his cells, and began reconstructing bodies for both of them.
Using his spell Material Regeneration, and their souls as blueprints, he channeled the immense energy in his cells to craft new bodies.
Bones, muscles, blood vessels, blood, organs, nerves… The bodies were slowly taking shape.
Rimuru focused intently on the process. He couldn't afford even the slightest mistake. If the fusion between body and soul failed, it could lead to physical decay or even damage to the soul itself. And once that happened, recreating them would be nearly impossible.
Just a short distance away, a barely noticeable spatial rift quietly opened.
It was so small that Rimuru, too focused, and Bronya, lacking any perception skills, didn't notice.
From the crack, a faint aura of Honkai leaked out, and then—a slender, pure, and deadly tentacle formed entirely from concentrated Honkai energy stretched through.
Taking advantage of their distraction, it slithered toward the sealed consciousness of Sirin.
"What the hell?!" Rimuru's expression shifted in alarm, but the tentacle was already wrapping around Sirin's spiritual form and retreating toward the rift.
Without hesitation, Rimuru split off a small cell of himself and sent it after the tentacle.
Just before the rift fully closed, the cell caught up.
"What was that thing?" Bronya asked, staring at where Sirin's consciousness had just been.
"Sirin's consciousness," Rimuru said grimly.
"What?! The Second Herrscher, Sirin?!" Bronya was stunned. "Then what just took her?!"
"I suspect… the Honkai Will itself," Rimuru said darkly. "I didn't think it would get personally involved."
"The Honkai Will?! That's impossible…" Bronya was speechless.
"We'll talk about that later. For now, I'm saving these two." Rimuru's eyes narrowed as he refocused on the bodies still forming in front of him.
