Chapter 77 - Episode 77:Rise , laughing blade

The sky bled fire.

Darkness erupted like a wound across the horizon.

Inside the battlefield,

flames danced with shadows as screams of spectral warriors echoed across Sunlight Rage Academy. The sealed power beneath the earth had broken, and now… war had truly begun.

Yooha wiped blood from her cheek. Her breathing was heavy. Her legs trembled—but her eyes burned with divine fury. The pre-general, cloaked in cursed armor, laughed with venom. "You little demi-things think you can stop Ghost Gordon's will?"

Jin stepped forward.

Not just as the Laughing Blade's wielder. Not just as a divine-born hybrid.

But as a leader.

"No," he said, calm like the eye of a storm. "I'm going to erase him."

Flashback – Training Grounds, A Week Ago

Yooha had stood alone in the canyon, blades drawn, eyes closed.

Bo had been watching from a cliff, biting into a steamed bun. "You really want to beat Jin?"

Yooha hadn't answered. She'd just whispered, "I want to protect him."

Now—she stood beside him.

Side by side, their powers surged. Yooha's wings unfurled, glowing with blinding light and roaring winds. Jin's aura flared—dark silver and deep sapphire. The battlefield paused, watching two warriors born of opposite destinies… unite.

The First Strike Came.

The pre-general lunged.

Jin deflected the massive shadow scythe, the clang echoing like thunder. Yooha followed with a double blade slash, cutting through the enemy's side. The monster roared, retaliating with a curse that shattered the ground beneath them.

"Break his core!" Xie Luang shouted from the rear.

He Wang and Meiqi summoned a fusion barrier, covering the team.

Bo yelled, "Combo time, baby! Triple chaos beam, go!"

But then… the general laughed.

And suddenly—another crack split the sky.

The second gate opened.

Ghost Gordon himself wasn't here—but he sent one of his greatest. A cursed disciple with silver eyes and the aura of death. Yooha froze. Her body trembled.

"That's… his top student."

Jin felt it too. His blade trembled in his hands. "Stay behind me."

"No," she said, stepping forward. "Let me."

She darted into battle before anyone could stop her, colliding with the cursed disciple in a shockwave that rippled across the continent. Her power was beautiful—wild—and too much.

She didn't care.

Inside her heart was rage. Fury. Pain.

For her lost childhood. For Jin's scars. For all the world's children who had to fight to survive.

For herself.

They clashed like gods.

And she—matched him.

Wings of blazing gold.

Blood-slick blades.

One scream. One strike. One tear sliding down her cheek.

"You're not stronger than my will!" Yooha roared, plunging both blades into the cursed disciple's heart.

Silence. Then collapse.

The world held its breath.

Jin ran to her, catching her before she hit the ground.

Her body was trembling.

"I'm okay," she whispered. "I just… need time."

Bo ran over, bruised and burnt. "WELL—THAT'S NOT OKAY OKAY!"

"Don't scare us like that, idiot," Meiqi muttered, her voice shaky.

He Wang knelt beside them, hands glowing with healing light. "You did it. He's gone."

But Jin looked toward the seal.

And felt something worse.

"…He's coming."

The real Ghost Gordon.

And this time… not everyone will survive.
