As Kelvin walked through the forest, he suddenly caught sight of a group of people gathered near a clearing. Kelvin recognized then as kaito and his team members
Aurora, noticed Kelvin approaching and called out to him. "Hey, you might want to change your route. There's a level nine beast lurking nearby. It's not safe for solo travelers like yourself."
Kelvin barely glanced at the team as he walked past them. Aurora quickly stepped forward, her hand on the hilt of her sword. "Wait, I'm serious. That beast is no joke. You'd be better off joining us, or at least taking a detour."
Kelvin turned to Aurora and smiled confidently. "Thanks for the warning, but I think I can handle a level nine beast."
The other members of Ratio Team exchanged skeptical glances, and one of them snorted in derision. "You think you can take on a level nine beast alone? You're either crazy or suicidal," a burly warrior sneered.
A slender archer chimed in, "Yeah, what's with your attitude? Aurora's offering you a chance to join us, and you're just going to blow it off?"
Kaito looks at Kelvin and did not say anything
The team's insults continued to flow, but Kelvin ignored them, his focus fixed on the path ahead. He knew his abilities and wasn't about to let a group of strangers undermine his confidence.
As he walked away, Kelvin could hear the team's murmurs of discontent, but he paid them no mind.
As Kelvin walked away from the team, he entered a part of the forest that seemed to be twisted and corrupted. The trees seemed to writhe and twist, their branches like gnarled fingers reaching out to snare him. The air was thick with an eerie, pulsating energy that seemed to seep from the very earth itself. The ground beneath his feet was spongy and uneven, covered in a thick layer of decaying leaves and vines.
The canopy above was so dense that it blocked out most of the sunlight, casting the forest floor in a dim, emerald green hue. The trees seemed to loom over him, their trunks thick and twisted, their branches tangled in a mess of dark, thorny vines. The air was heavy with the scent of decay and corruption, and Kelvin could feel the weight of the forest's malevolent energy bearing down on him.
As he walked, the forest grew denser and more twisted, the trees becoming more and more distorted. Kelvin's senses were on high alert, and he could feel that he was being watched. Suddenly, a chorus of screeches and chattering echoed through the forest, and a group of demon monkeys emerged from the shadows.
The demon monkeys were unlike any Kelvin had seen before. Their eyes glowed with an otherworldly energy, and their fur seemed to be infused with a dark, pulsating power. They were larger and more muscular than normal monkeys, and their sharp teeth and claws seemed to be dripping with a malevolent aura.
Kelvin's eyes narrowed as he gazed at the demon monkeys, his mind working swiftly to analyze their strengths and weaknesses. With a swift thought, he activated his Target Analysis skill, focusing on the leader of the demon monkeys, a creature known as koro the Defiler.
"Target Analysis: Koro the Defiler," Kelvin's voice whispered in his mind, as the skill provided him with vital information about his enemy.
*Target: koro the Defiler*
*Level: 9
*Species: Demon Monkey*
*Abilities: Enhanced Strength, Agility, Dark Energy Manipulation*
*Weaknesses: Vulnerable to Light-based Attacks, Shadow-based Attacks deal bonus damage*
This is the level nine beast their were talking about, Kelvin thought in his mind.
As the demon monkeys charged towards Kelvin, he stood tall, his eyes gleaming with an unyielding determination. With a voice that resonated with authority, he uttered a single word: "Arise." The air seemed to vibrate with the power of his command, and his shadow erupted into a swirling vortex of darkness.
From the depths of the shadowy abyss, a formidable legion emerged, led by two imposing figures: Umbra and Tenebris. The duo stood at the forefront, their dark, exuding an aura of power and menace. Behind them, a sea of three hundred shadow panthers arose, their eyes glowing like embers in the dark. The shadow panthers formed a formidable phalanx, their sleek bodies tense and ready to pounce.
The demon monkeys, caught off guard by the sudden appearance of the shadow soldiers, halted their charge in stunned bewilderment. Fear etched itself onto their twisted faces as they gazed upon the shadowy warriors. The demon monkeys' eyes widened in terror as they took in the sheer number of shadow panthers and the imposing presence of Umbra and Tenebris.
The demon monkeys' charge faltered, and they stumbled backward, their confidence shattered by the sudden appearance of Kelvin's shadow legion. Umbra and Tenebris stood unwaveringly at the forefront, their eyes fixed intently on the demon monkeys. The shadow panthers behind them seemed to be waiting for Kelvin's command, their bodies coiled and ready to strike.
The demon monkeys, realizing they were outmatched, turned to flee in panic. But Kelvin's shadow soldiers stood firm, their presence a testament to Kelvin's growing power and authority. The demon monkeys' fear turned to despair as they realized they were no match for Kelvin's shadow legion.
As the Koro were about to flee in panic, a deafening roar echoed through the forest, causing them to stop in their tracks. Kelvin's gaze shifted to the front, and his eyes widened as he beheld a gargantuan Koro, its massive body as large as two elephant. The giant Koro's eyes seemed to burn with an inner fire, and its presence radiated an aura of raw power.
Kelvin's eyes locked onto the giant Koro, and he swiftly activated his Target Analysis skill.
*Target: Kraggor, the Devourer*
*Level: 12*
*Species: Koro*
*Abilities: Enhanced Strength, Regeneration, Dark Energy Overdrive*
*Weaknesses: Vulnerable to Holy-based Attacks, Lightning-based Attacks deal bonus damage*
Kelvin's eyes narrowed as he studied the target information. Kraggor, the Devourer, was a formidable foe, and its level 12 status indicated that it was far more powerful than the Koro he had seen so far. Kelvin's grip on the Crimson Requiem tightened as he prepared to face this new threat. The battle was about to escalate, and Kelvin was ready to unleash his full power.
