A small family could be seen moving into their newly bought house. Gan could be seen helping his father and brother unload the U-haul. He and his family had just moved back to New York from Michigan.
Their parents gave birth to them when they weren't financially stable, so Gan and his siblings had to live with their grandparents for a while. Gan's Grandparents lived in Queens, New York; this is where he met Peter Parker as a child.
His parents stayed in Michigan until they got themselves together. Once they were stable, Gan and his siblings went back to live with them.
Gan was a brown-skinned Black American with short black hair and brown eyes that nearly looked amber. He stood at 173 cm in height, with a lean, muscular build from working out.
Gan was initially surprised by the move because he knew what went on in New York. As one may have guessed, Gan wasn't a true resident of this world. He had been transferred here as an infant somehow.
Gan knew better from watching television that this was the Marvel world. Initially, he couldn't believe what he was seeing on television. Of course, he did some hard research and understood that what was said was the truth.
The news of the past showed General Ross hunting down the Hulk. Later, there was a fight between the Hulk and Abomination. These events occurred four years ago when he was eleven years old.
After all, Gan was the childhood friend of Peter Parker, so he knew something before the Hulk and Abomination event. Upon discovering that this was the Marvel world, Gan was naturally excited.
Furthermore, Gan was just an average person with no special qualifications. He even called out to a system many times, hoping he had a cheat.
Unfortunately, nothing appeared.
With a sigh, Gan continued to help move things into the house. They had two U-Haul trucks filled with stuff. Gan couldn't figure out why his parents wanted to move to New York, which had many dangerous circumstances.
The place was crawling with heroes and villains alike.
His parents only said that they would tell them later. The hardest thing to get into the house was the couches.
"Why was I brought here?" Gan had asked himself this question many times.
Why come here if he wasn't going to be anything special? Gan wished he could slap whoever brought him here, only for them to make him a regular a** human!
"Oh, I call dibs on this bedroom!" Gan's brother, Galen, found the room he was interested in and lay on the floor claiming it.
"I knew you were going to do that. I bet you couldn't wait to do it, too." Gan knew he was going to call out the room he wanted.
However, Gan had done his research on this house. This house was a massive house with a walk-out basement. This was something Galen hadn't realized, so Gan chose this location as his room.
His parents had naturally chosen the master bedroom for themselves. This new house was the biggest on the block, and it had six bedrooms.
"What? Am I that predictable now?" Galen smiled and shrugged carelessly.
"Hey, you two, we still have quite a few things to move inside. Come out and help finish up; the sooner the better." That voice echoed throughout the house before they went back outside to help.
This move took them another two hours before it was complete. Their parents had bought them new bed sets that they could build for themselves.
"We left during the second card marking of high school. What school are we going to enroll in this time?"
Galen was curious about meeting new people, after all, they had been going to the same school for years. Both Gan and Galen were twins, but they weren't identical.
They had another brother and sister, who were two years younger than they were. Currently, they are spending time with their Grandparents in Queens. They will come back home next week on Monday.
These two were also twins, and the sister was the youngest. Gan's family was quite large, with him being the eldest.
"We've decided that you both will enroll in Bayville High School. We came here in U-hauls, so our cars were left back at home. They will be shipped to us 3 days from now, so you will have to take the school bus instead."
Their father, Gary, took a seat on the couch and spoke with exhaustion. He was feeling sleepy from driving here and moving things inside.
"You both will be going to the local school in this area. I'll understand if you don't want to attend the same school, but this is how it will be." Their mom added with a smile.
"Bayville High School? Sounds good to me." Galen was eager to meet new people and make new friends.
It wasn't like they had a choice; they now lived in Bayville, so this was the best option. Gan was amazed when he heard his dad mention this school.
Peter Parker attended Midtown High School, and the X-Men started enrolling at Bayville High School.
"Would I run into the X-Men at this school? That would depend on what Earth I'm on." Gan wasn't sure what type of Marvel world he was in.
The X-Men only went to this school in the X-Men Evolution series. On most Earths, they stayed and studied at the Xavier Institute for the Gifted.
"Alright, your dad and I will enroll you guys online over the weekend. You'll be accepted right away because you live in Bayville, so it won't be a problem." Their mother stretched and said.
"Speaking of which, why did we move to New York of all places?" Gan took the time to ask his parent this question.
"That's because I got a really good job opportunity, so we moved here. The headquarters of this job is located here in New York."
His father didn't tell him what job it was until Gan asked. He said it was some tech job that pays well, so he couldn't pass it up. The job even bought this house for them, which shocked Gan.
'What kind of tech job buys a house for its employees?' Gan felt like something was off, but he didn't press his dad about it.
He went to his new room and started building his new bed foundation. Once Gan was done, he simply placed the mattress over another set of layers. He did the same with his clothes, he hung them up in his closet before lying on his bed.
His bedroom was massive, far bigger than the other rooms in the house. It was a good thing he had done some research on this house. His brother was unaware of this walk-out basement, so he was able to get this room instead.
"I still need a dresser, and I need to build my television set." Gan sighed. He didn't feel like doing any of this right now.
"Bayville High, I hope not to see those mutants. If this world is based on the television series, then the X-Men will enroll in Bayville. That will lead to chaos, so it would be best to avoid such a situation."
Midtown High School was much more peaceful compared to Bayville. Just as Gan was about to stand up, he suddenly heard a ding sound.

'What? Is this a Golden finger? It's a chat room of some sort.' To Gan, this was naturally better than nothing, and he was overjoyed.
"I'll call myself...Cosmic King!" Gan wrote his name and entered.

A synchronizing sign appeared for a moment before he entered a chat room.

"What? This is Marvel's Earth 616?" Gan was now shocked, this was the main Marvel universe.
He checked the rest of his profile and saw a Shuttle Voucher for use. Apparently, it could shuttle any item to the user or teleport him/her to any entity except Omnipotent Beings.
"My Ultimate Ability, will it unlock in 6 hours?" Gan went back to the chat room, wanting to ask some questions.

If anyone could see Infinite Darkness's expression, it would be one of sheer terror. Of all the worlds he could have ended up in, it was the apocalypse type.

Gan couldn't help but speak up at this moment. These two had really unfortunate scenarios with these dark worlds.

This statement stunned Gan. Could he be from the same Earth as him, but this was likely not the case.
Gan checked Jack's profile, which was surprisingly not private.
"This guy is from Earth 1610!" He wasn't from the same Earth as Gan, just as he thought.
The guy didn't hide his world or profile from anyone; was he that confident? Gan thought about messaging this guy, but opted not to for now.
