(Jayden's PoV)
We four went on our way after Master Jinn spoke with the Supreme Chancellor that they needed to speak with the Jedi Council about something important immediately.
Well, it was.
There were two things that we had to report, which had significant importance among the Jedi.
First, there was Maul, a Sith who was spotted after a thousand years.
Well, spotted was not the correct word. It was depicted in some comics and stories that Maul killed a few weaker Jedi and Padawans who discovered his existence.
I am pretty sure that Maul was not the only one to do so.
Whenever there was evidence of Sith, they would destroy it. The dead Jedi bodies, well, they were thrown to beasts, that would make sure that there was no evidence left.
This is the first time that the news of Sith's existence would be able to reach the Council's ears. So, it was urgent.
Also, there was Anakin, the chosen one.
Well, Qui-gon Jinn was only able to determine that his Midichlorian count was very high, higher than Yoda's. So, he believed that the boy was the chosen one, mainly because no one was able to detect his existence, even though he had so much potential.
Some like him had to be like a glowing star whenever a Jedi tried to feel the force. They should have all felt him, but no one did, not even the Sith.
If they did, he would have long gone from Tatooine.
It was what I believe made Master Jinn believe that Anakin was the Chosen One. The appearance of Sith and the Chosen One, at the same time, that's something the Jedi Council needed to know as soon as possible.
There was also the report regarding the diplomatic mission to deal with the Federation. Though the Chancellor issued it in secret, it was not so secret to the Council.
So, we all arrived at the temple and went to make reports about what exactly happened.
---
An Hour Later...
Well, that went out better than I thought, but I may have entered the eyes of the Council fully.
If learning skills like Force Heal didn't put me on their radar, the Force Dream that made us go to Tatooine and that too with ship parts that Master Jinn and the group needed, well, that attracted everyone's attention.
Force Dreams would show the Force Weilder their future, at least parts of it, but the issue was that no one properly knew how to interpret them. They show fragments of the future, which would not be easy to piece together.
So, when my dreams showed almost exactly what needed to be done and how quickly I was able to piece them together, they became quite interested.
It might mean that I have to move my trade empire in secret. Well, I was able to create a few loyal followers during the year I spent on Pantora. I can use them from now on, as it was the original plan.
They were supposed to be the face of my Trade Empire.
Well, aside from my matter, the appearance of Sith and Chosen One drew some opinions from the Council.
Some of them didn't honestly believe that a Sith appeared. They believed that someone might have found some Jedi ruin or a Sith ruin, from which they developed themselves, which was a more probable thing than a Sith returning after a thousand-year gap.
If they still existed, shouldn't there be thousands of them, attacking the Republic, as their secret was out? As happened in the past, when the Sith disappeared for a few years, before returning with an Armada, the same thing should be happening at this time, but nothing like that happened.
Only a single Sith appeared, which made some think that he might be some rogue who found ruins and learned the lightsaber arts from those ruins.
Next, coming to the topic of the Chosen One, not everyone was sure about that, even though Master Jinn revealed the facts that Anakin has more Midichlorian count than Master Yoda and the fact that he couldn't sense that the boy was Force Sensitive, until he concentrated on the boy.
After some discussion, the Council decided to test Anakin to see whether and how to train him, which I know they won't.
In the Canon, they reject training Anakin, but Qui-gon takes on the task of training Anakin and accepts any consequences that may arise.
Anakin was already ten years old. Most younglings start between the ages of two and four. Some, even before that. Anakin was way beyond that age.
Well, I can understand that Anakin might not be able to make connections with other younglings as others do. They are of different age groups. So, mingling may not come easily.
Also, Anakin was a slave. His mother, with whom he had spent ten years, was still a slave. Therefore, there is a high likelihood of becoming angry and resentful towards those who cause them misery.
As Jedi, they all teach detachment, though in reality, many don't follow that rule themselves but love to impose it on others.
I mean, who was that idiot, the Cerean Jedi, who got married, not just to one woman, but multiple ones? He even has children. Ah, it was Ki-Adi-Mundi.
Why was he given an expectation?
Just because there is a smaller male population among the Cerean?
That's bullshit.
Those women could have married other men. It's not like he is the last male of his race.
Also, it was an advanced galaxy, damn it. They could have created test-tube babies if they had wanted to, easily. It shouldn't be an issue for such an advanced galaxy, where clones, droids, and world destroyers were created.
Rules are to be followed when others are involved, but when they are, those same rules would be discarded.
