Arahabaki turned his gaze to Alexander—who had somehow, stealthily, gained distance while they spoke.
"Are you referring to this blue fella?" Arahabaki asked, his shoulders dropping.
"So you truly are not him?"
"Hah!" Yam interjected.
"If by him you mean Alexander the Conqueror, then you've missed the mark. Certainly, they do seem alike—but there are things that carnage-worshipper would never do. For instance, trying to run away from battle the moment he sees a chance."
(Kyaaaahhhh, h-he knew?!)
"Me? Flee?" Alexander added with a scoff.
"Hmph. Your comedy truly needs refinement, human."
Yam continued, "Arahabaki, this thing—"
(Thing?!)
"—is a powerful monster of a new species, one I've decided to slay. So if you would excuse me, I'll get back to it. We can continue trying to kill each other some other time."
