There was a strange tension in the air. Mana crackled - nearby professors began to weaken. The boy in the middle of the arena did not seem so simple anymore. The headmaster stared into his two dull eyes. Devoid of emotion.
A cape made of shadows flowed from his back. A giant great sword formed in his hand. The pressure it gave off was akin to a guillotine, hanging over everyone's heads. Cracks of purple like crying obsidian formed under his skin.
For a moment everything was silent. Then-
-Swoosh!
Caelum dashed toward the headmaster, almost like it was on instinct. As if expecting this - the headmaster conjured a spell. 144 lines in under 3 seconds.
A firebolt the size of a basketball flashed past Caelum's head. He dodged the first and narrowly dodged the other two. He swung his great sword horizontally - then suddenly changed the direction upward. Just barely slicing the edge of the headmaster's beard.
Fast!
Caelum was extremely fast, and efficient. Even in this berserker state his analytical mind was working.
Another spell passed Caelum. This time an orb made of purely condensed mana.
As Caelum dodged the attack, another formed. The Headmaster was ready to knock Caelum out with this one.
"Boy, You cannot hold on any longer. I shall put you out of your mysery." Stopping midway the headmaster muttered to himself "Wait did that sound like I was about to kill him?"
Caelum didn't respond. Almost as if he calculated th the next move he dashed from his position mid air toward the headmaster. Eyes calm. Mana rampant.
He was ready to sacrifice at least an arm to take down the headmaster.

Somewhere in the stands the main protagonists of class 1-A was looking at this unexpected scene.
One student, caused nearly 22 professors to go into a weakened state. To be honest - what they were seeing was terrifying.
"He's a monstar" Amira remarked, sweat evident on her brow. What she saw was a fight purely based on instinct - a terrifying, calculating, efficient instinct.
"Yeah, I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it" Leon said in a calm voice. He seemed to have adjusted to the pressure, though he seemed to be deep in thought.
"If that's his berserker state, I do not want to see his calm state" Benson appeared behind them. Patting dust from his clothes and straightening his tie.
"Benson! Where were ya!?"
"Oh, just taking care of a poor fellow who was knocked unconscious during the match."
A little further from them stood Candice - biting her nails.
She seemed to be deep in thought.
"What are you thinking about?" Aria came up to her.
"It just seems wierd."
"There has to be more to it... Something is missing. I tried to find information on him, but nothing came up. All his info is protected. Just who is he really?"
Amira looked down at the arena. "Yeah... Just who is he?"

Meanwhile on the battlefield Caelum was still fighting with the headmaster.
Dodging an attack the headmaster looked Caelum in his eyes.
"Boy. I think it's about time we stop our little game."
After he said those words, an unnatural gravitational force descended upon Caelum. It was like the world descended upon him. With his movements restricted the headmaster knocked him unconscious. By hitting a nerve on his neck.
"Hoho~ never thought I would live to see a calamity like him"
All around them unconscious bodies layed on the ground.
Caelum's skin was still cracking, his mana was running rampant. The headmaster observed him, walked over and calmed his mana sea.
"Whatever happened to lead this boy to such a fate, one could only wonder...."
It was said that a knight of ruin. It's a rare trait that is only ever recorded two times. It awakens when someone who lost somethig very important to them - something close to their heart. If the resentment this person feels reaches the core of the [world] this person will awaken the trait. What they lose must be something more important to them than they themselves - they are bestowed the blessing or curse [knight of ruin] - some believe it comes from the moon, others say it's something you're born with. But one thing is certain - it's the most dangerous of all disaster mana traits.
Only by losing everything can one awaken this trait.
"It's best that this doesn't get leaked or a target would be put on his back."
The headmaster spread his arms, a pure blinding light engulfed the whole arena.
"That should do it"
What he did was absurd - to wipe so many memories at once. It was supposed to be impossible. But he wasn't called the Zenith for no reason.
When the spell was finalized he noticed five students in the stands, who wasn't affected by the spell.
"Haaa... They must have pretty strong mental strength or defense artifacts"

Meanwhile in Caelum's conscious, a battle was taking place. He was battered and bruised. Across from him an obsidian black figure stood. He looked like a perfect replica of Caelum.
It dashed forward, swinging it's sword. Dodging by a hair's breath - Caelum swung his sword vertically. Steel met steel. The figure twisted it's body, landing a crushing kick on Caelum's chest.
Panting heavily, he got up. Bruised and battered, sweat dripped from his forehead.
"Hahaha... Accused is my fate... I just wanted to go back home with this second chance I was given. Guess this world is against me as well."
The figure quietly walked toward Caelum with slow methodical movements. Like a robot.
This fight it's impossible to win. What happens if I'm struck down? Haa it's dark, if only I could see better.
As if listening to his thoughts everything lit up.
"W-what?"
Looking around he could see an infinite space of white. Consciousness. 'Wait this was my conscious? How could I forget?'
Then a thought entered his mind. He was facing a roadblock with his [flash] skill. Maybe he could use this time to hone it more.
Caelum got up. Closed his eyes and lifted his sword. He won't stop until he reaches the speed of light.
He got into a stance.
Emptiness-
Only a single thought surfaced in his mind. A will.
Lightning started to cover his legs.
"Then let us begin!"
-Dash!
Blinking forward like a ray of light, Caelum appeared infront of the obsidian copy.
"This is a great opportunity for practicing [flash]!"
Well it was also dangerous. But as they say, high risk high reward.
Swinging his sword he met steel. The copy kicked him again. He wasn't disheartened. If attempt one failed, then he will try again, until he perfected [flash] and could chain at least five consecutive flashes.
"We're gonna become grea~t friends"
This was Caelum's conscious afterall. In here he was in control.
Somewhere in a dark place, younger Caelum looked through a glowing orb.
"Huhu~ interesting. He already figured it out."
