Special POV – Red, the Dragon of Chaos
Run.
Yes, that's exactly what I'm doing. Running with honor while a Scarlet Witch chases me with a gaze that could boil oceans. I flee for my life, and a five-year-old human child —young master Harry— is clinging to her leg to stop her from coming after me.
Confused? Then let us go back. To my glorious birth.
Too far back? I don't care. I'm the narrator!
—
A couple of months ago… I was born.
Yes, just a couple of months. So what? I'm still stronger than all of you, simple mortals! I was born from pure chaos magic, shaped by the Scarlet Witch herself. The first thing I saw when I opened my eyes was my mistress, Wanda… and little Harry. An adorable human pup.
Naturally, I assumed my destiny was to conquer the world in my mistress's name. As expected of a chaos dragon! Though I suspect she believes I'm some kind of spell turned into a pet. Grave mistake. I'm no mere summoning. I am the beginning of the end!
But no. My task wasn't to rule… but to protect young Harry.
Not a bad mission. After all, he's the heir of my creator, which makes it a high-ranking responsibility. And maybe, one day, they'll let me conquer a kingdom or two. Nothing too ambitious.
As his official protector, my mission is simple: annihilate anything that dares disrespect him. Turn his enemies into ash. Purify fools with fire.
Like this cursed cylindrical object right in front of me. Clearly an ancient structure. A magical bomb? A planetary core? A Doomsday weapon? It has the round shape of a planet. Clearly dangerous.
"Come on, Red! You have to pick it up and bring it here!" said young master Harry.
I lifted my gaze. Then I looked at the artifact.
Of course… it's Wanda's. She plays with end-of-the-world weapons like they're toys. What a brilliant mind. Could they be planning to destroy another continent?
I took it in my mouth and solemnly marched toward my young master, eager to witness a great explosion.
But then… he threw it to the ground!
What…? Did he reject it? Was it not worthy of his chaos? Hmph. Perhaps its power was too weak for his dark plans. Even so, one should not leave planetary weapons lying around.
If this planet gets destroyed by accident, Wanda and Harry will have to relocate. And that would be a logistical nightmare.
So I rushed to retrieve the artifact and gave it back to him.
...And he threw it again.
It seems young master has a strange obsession with endangering his own world. What a fearless creature. I shall follow his will. If he wishes to play with the apocalypse, I will support him.
—
One day, the loud lion-headed girl appeared. Noisy. Annoying. But young master likes her. So I will grant her temporary tolerance.
They were practicing with the ancient artifact when it got stuck in a tree.
"Come on, Red, fly and get it!" said little Harry.
Oh, master… I still can't fly. My wings are in a decorative phase. I am young, yes, but I'll overcome it. I'm sorry, Harry. This dragon… has failed you.
I watched as they started arguing. Apparently, Harry wanted to risk his life climbing for the artifact. Reckless! This time, I must side with the noisy girl.
If he dies, the world would be plunged into chaos without direction!
But then… I saw it.
A floating creature, with glowing wings and an empty gaze. A killer fairy!
I had to act. I had to protect the heir of chaos!
"COME HERE, WRETCH!"
I chased her across the room. Fast. Agile. Definitely trained to kill. But I managed to scare her off. Young master Harry was safe. And thanks to Wanda, he made peace with the screeching girl.
Good parenting, mistress Wanda. Although… I doubt she knows her son constantly endangers the fabric of existence. But I won't tell her. It'll be our little secret.
—
Today is just another day. Young Harry is heading off with his mother. I wonder where they're going… To unleash storms on the mortal plane? To teach him how to bend reality?
Yes, as expected.
While they're gone, I can finally rest a bit.
...No! The fairy has returned!
—
I spotted her! She's now on young master's clothes. Clearly trying to curse them. That garment is cursed. I must destroy it!
"Red! What are you doing?! Drop that!" yelled little Harry, running toward me.
No, young master. It's dangerous. The curse must already be activating.
"Let go!" he insisted, pulling on the other end.
Ah, I see! You're helping me destroy it. Excellent. Leave the dirty work to my fangs. I'll take care of it.
—
And then… the ambush.
A perfect trap. The ground gave way. I was dragged into dark, cold, merciless mud. The Sands of Sin!
I sank deeper and deeper. The more I struggled, the more it consumed me. What cruel punishment! The world has betrayed me.
"Red, what are you doing in the mud?! Get out of there! Mom's gonna get mad!" said young Harry, approaching with a worried face.
Oh no… he realizes there's no saving me. He's come to say goodbye. How brave. How tragic.
"I'm sorry, young master. I hope I was a good protector…" I whispered, closing my eyes and accepting my fate.
Then I felt young Harry tugging on my tail. Trying to pull me out. But it was impossible. Once you fall into the Sands of Sin…
…He pulled me out!
Little Harry pulled me out of that deadly trap!
Of course, he's the son of the Scarlet Witch — he must've used some ancient technique of inverted telekinesis or gravitational distortion.
Thank you, little Harry.
No... I can't call you that anymore. Not after this.
Master Harry, I said, kneeling before him with solemnity.
"Come on, Red, get up. We have to clean you before mom gets home," said Master Harry with a serious expression.
Of course, Master Harry! This humble servant shall aid you in cleansing the rot from this world.
Oh… wait. It seems Master Harry was referring to cleaning me… from the trap.
Well, that could still count as cleansing the world. Technically. So I'm still fulfilling my duty. Besides, a bath every now and then isn't a bad idea.
As I followed him toward the bathing area, I felt it — a strange magical fluctuation. A shift in the air.
Something was moving.
A magical intruder!
I must protect Master Harry!
I rushed through the house at full speed. Searched the living room. Even the top of the couch. Nothing.
Was it a magical mirage? A cloaked psionic illusion?
"Oh no, Red! Mom's going to be mad…" said Master Harry, approaching with concern.
Yes, she will! If a foreign magical force entered the house and I failed to stop it, she'll be furious!
I've failed!
But wait, Master Harry! I haven't checked the kitchen yet! Don't hold me back!
Maybe the enemy is hiding in the bathroom… or the pantry.
Damn it, this could be worse than I thought!
That scent… Mistress Wanda has returned.
I must warn her! An intruder may still be nearby!
I ran toward her at full speed, but…
Her gaze struck me like a burning spear.
Oh no. She's furious.
Defense tactic number one: hide behind Master Harry.
Yes, I know it's shameful for the mighty Dragon of Chaos, guardian of annihilation and destruction…
But it's Wanda.
And while she'd never harm Harry… I'm pretty sure she'd harm me. With flair.
Maybe she found the intruder. Or maybe… she found out that I didn't find the intruder.
How embarrassing.
What a terrible dragon I am.
—
Oh no! Master Harry has acquired new subordinates.
They're… all girls?
How strange.
Well, maybe they're young witches from another dimension. Their powers haven't awakened yet. They look soft and fragile. Clearly inexperienced.
But Master Harry is thinking long-term. Of course!
Still a young warlock, and already forming his personal coven.
Well played, Master Harry.
We shall observe them closely. Evaluate if they're worthy of your trust… and of global conquest.
And once they've grown, once their powers awaken…
I shall lead the charge as your first knight, bringing the world to its knees!
—
Master Harry is growing fast.
His magic blossoms daily. His mind is sharp. His will unbreakable.
A true knight of chaos.
The girls around him don't seem to have much magic… yet.
But they grew up with him.
And through sheer proximity to his glorious presence, their magical cores are already stronger than any mediocre wizard I've seen on this world.
They just need practice.
I've watched them all. Analyzed them. Tested them.
At first, I thought they were using magical mind probes — that weird ribbon some of them wear looked suspicious — but it had no magical energy.
What a disappointment.
—
Lately, Master Harry spends a lot of time with a new ally.
They've been building golems together.
YES.
An army of autonomous golems.
What a brutal and efficient plan.
Master Harry's ideas are always packed with military precision and restrained violence.
I admire him.
I can already picture the battlefield: me, flying high with him mounted on my back, while the golems march below, crushing cities and burning empires.
Wait!
Now that I can fly, I could recruit dragons for his cause!
"Red, I'll be back. Watch the house. And don't destroy anything or mom will get mad," said Master Harry before crossing a portal of green flames.
Heh… yes, yes, whatever you say.
This is the perfect opportunity!

Solo adventure: In search of this world's dragons!
I flew high, so high, following the draconic energy in the air. After many hours, I found a mountain crawling with enormous creatures.
But as I got closer…
They weren't dragons.
They were wyverns.
Horrible. Ugly. Their front legs fused into their wings…
What sort of genetic abomination is this?
Still, some draconic blood must run through their veins. Because the moment I approached, they all lowered their heads.
They recognize me as their superior!
That's good. That's very good.
I will conquer the dragons — or whatever these are — of this world.
And when Master Harry gives the order, we will unleash a single, devastating strike that brings the world to its knees.
Because I am…
Red.
The Dragon of Chaos.
A being superior to all other dragons.
And the third most powerful entity in this world.

N/A: I love writing this nonsense.
Can you imagine Red meeting Sir Cadogan? Hahahaha.
