Chapter 20 - Operation: School Escape part 4 [ end ]

On the other side, as soon as Zhao Feng issued the command, his team surged forward, charging at the incoming wolves without a shred of fear.

Especially Yan Qinran and his subordinates—they moved like bloodthirsty maniacs, eyes burning with vengeance.

They wanted to slaughter every single one of these mutated wolves to avenge the fallen comrades who had died yesterday.

The wolves, on the other hand, were no less ferocious. Their crimson eyes glowed with wild intent as they charged in response.

At the very front of the charge, Xiao Yuyan took the lead. A blue aura enveloped her legs, boosting her speed as she dashed straight into the heart of the wolf pack like a lightning bolt.

But she didn't strike the wolves.

Instead, a blazing red aura flared around her fist.

She pulled her arm back and punched the ground right in the middle of the wolves' formation!

Boom!

Her fist connected with the earth—

Crackkk!

Fissures spread out like a spiderweb, the shockwave rippling through the ground.

Several wolves stumbled, their charge disrupted by the sudden tremor.

The once-unified assault lost cohesion. The formation collapsed into chaos.

Taking full advantage, Zhao Feng's team struck with coordinated fury.

Yan Qinran, with his legs engulfed in blazing flames, rushed forward to kill.

"Burning Feet!"

With a sharp shout, he launched a powerful front kick straight at a charging wolf.

The beast had no time to dodge.

Its flesh and bones were brutally crushed by the searing force of Yan Qinran's attack.

"Auuu—!" the wolf howled in agony before falling limp.

Without missing a beat, Yan Qinran kicked the lifeless body toward the rest of the pack.

Meanwhile, Xiao Yuyan didn't let up.

After shattering the formation, she continued to dominate the battlefield.

Her left hand, glowing with a radiant yellow aura, grabbed a wolf's claw barehanded—stopping it without a scratch!

Her gaze was cold and deadly.

Her right fist, wrapped in a brilliant red glow, cocked back and slammed upward—

"Ghookk—!"

The wolf was launched skyward, its eyes rolling back, instantly knocked out.

One more punch.

Xiao Yuyan's follow-up strike sent the wolf's corpse flying into a concrete wall with a sickening crunch.

'Hah—This is for my man!'

But it wasn't just Xiao Yuyan and Yan Qinran who shone in the battle.

From the backlines, Ning Yue calmly slipped an energy scalpel between her fingers and flicked it with frightening precision.

Amidst the chaos, her figure moved with eerie calm.

Her sharp eyes locked onto a large wolf charging from the right.

Shuuut—!

A nearly silent burst of light flew from her fingers.

The scalpel sliced through the air like a ghost, slipping between muscle and artery in the beast's front leg.

It cut with surgical precision—so clean that there was hardly any blood.

Within seconds, the wolf's leg gave out.

"Grrkk…?"

The creature staggered, confused.

It tried to howl, but all that came out was a feeble gurgle.

Its eyes widened in fear as paralysis spread through its body.

"High-dose anesthetic poison."

Ning Yue muttered softly, her voice as calm as a doctor administering a tranquilizer.

The beast collapsed, limp and helpless, before it could even understand what had happened.

Tie Hu and Yan Qinran's subordinates were no less savage.

Tie Hu's massive arm was coated in rock-like armor as he leapt and slammed his fist into a wolf, crushing it into pulp.

Nearby, Du Shu—with his bald head and innocent face—pressed his palms together.

His head morphed into a sharp, metallic silver spike.

With one brutal headbutt, Du Shu pierced through a wolf's torso, his metallic head now stained crimson.

At the back, a bespectacled girl with freckles watched the battlefield with serious eyes.

Mu Lin, the team's key support, possessed a rare gift: telepathic coordination.

Through her mind-link, she kept everyone connected, allowing them to respond instantly and work together seamlessly.

If anyone needed help, Mu Lin could alert the team without chaos or delay.

Thanks to her constant monitoring, not a single teammate had died in this battle.

Then—!

A streak of blue lightning flashed beside Mu Lin.

Particles of electricity gathered and reformed into the shape of a man—Zhao Feng.

He stepped out of the light and glanced toward the team as they continued to decimate the remaining wolves.

His voice was calm, but filled with weight.

"Any injuries?"

Mu Lin blushed lightly, but responded without hesitation.

"None, Captain. Thanks to Dr. Ning, no one was seriously hurt or killed."
