Getting Stronger
***Arin's POV***
Even though I wasn't hurt, I let out a soft scream as sharp pain hit my ribs.
"Kael!" I called out knowing fully well, he was in trouble.
Thirty seconds later Kael walked into the kitchen with his side held up. He asked me, "How did you know?" with a shocked look on his face.
"I felt it," I said . "I felt your pain like it was mine."
"That's not possible," Jaxon said, mate bonds don't work like that.
But Rowan said he felt it too.
We looked at each other with surprise. It had been two days since the fight with Cassian, and strange things kept happening. Yesterday, when Jaxon cut his hand on a broken glass, all three of us felt it at the same time. This morning, when Rowan had a bad dream, I woke up crying.
"Things are getting weird," I said.
"Weird is an understatement," Kael said, sitting down carefully. "I can hear your thoughts sometimes."
