It was unnerving. And somehow beautiful.
The Wraith drifted slowly through open space, untethered to war or mission for the first time since anyone aboard could remember.
Aeron stood by the console, watching her in the stillness.
"So," he said, voice softer than usual. "What now?"
She gave a small smile. "I guess we figure out how to live without being someone else's legacy."
