"Leave this to me!" Su Mo from the Tiga Ultraman world declared confidently.
When it came to combat in outer space, it was naturally his world that had the most experience. After all, in Tiga Ultraman, there were many enemies that had to be dealt with beyond Earth's atmosphere.
That made the development of space-based power forms much easier for him than for the others.
"Yeah, go for it! I believe in you," Su Mo from the Campione world encouraged him with a nod. Although he had helped develop the Corona Form, his true strength lay in the power of Authorities, not Ultraman-based abilities.
If Tiga's forms were to evolve any further, it would have to be Su Mo from the Tiga world leading the way.
"As for the Moon God Form and similar powers, I'll keep an eye out from my side," Campione Su Mo added. "If you need a specific kind of Authority to develop those forms, just let me know."
Right now, Su Mo from the Campione world was essentially invincible. He had little personal need for new powers. But if the others had specific requirements, he'd gladly help—after all, strengthening any Su Mo was equivalent to strengthening himself.
"I don't really need anything for now," said Su Mo from the DanMachi world, shaking his head. Then, with a curious glint in his eyes, he asked the others:
"Come to think of it, once this plan is completed... wouldn't that make all of us pretty much invincible in our respective worlds?"
"Yeah," Su Mo from the Tiga world nodded. "That's right," echoed Su Mo from the Fairy Tail world.
But Su Mo from the Tiga world gave them all a sour look.
"You guys are showing off, right? You're totally showing off!""So you're telling me... out of all of us, I'm the only one who hasn't reached invincible status yet?!"
Yes, the Corona Form of Tiga was powerful.
But when it came to facing the final boss—Gatanothor, the Lord of Darkness—there was still a significant gap. Even if he managed to develop the Cosmic Corona Form, Su Mo wasn't confident it would be enough.
After all, in the original storyline, the method used to defeat Gatanothor was largely symbolic and spiritual. The true combat power of Shining Tiga had never really been quantified.
That left Su Mo from the Tiga world genuinely uncertain.
"Ah, right!" Su Mo from the DanMachi world suddenly recalled that Gatanothor was still a looming threat in the Tiga universe.
Thinking back to the plot of the original series, he made a suggestion:
"Why not follow the original path—get the whole world to turn into light and help us?"
"That's way too passive!" Campione Su Mo immediately shook his head.
"In the original, Tiga won not just because the world turned into light...""More importantly, Gatanothor didn't go for the kill."
"If, back then, after turning Tiga to stone with the petrification beam, Gatanothor had used his tentacles to completely destroy the statue...""Then no matter how much light the world gave, it wouldn't have mattered."
"We can't rely on our enemies to make mistakes."
After all, their current style of fighting was very different from the original Tiga. There was no guarantee that Gatanothor would behave the same way and merely petrify them without finishing the job.
"Exactly," Su Mo from the Tiga world agreed, nodding seriously.
"Whether it's the Cosmic Corona Form or a potential Moon God Form… I have ideas for how to develop those.""But the Shining Form—that's a different story. That one requires cooperation from others, and it's full of unpredictable variables."
Sure, with his magic, Su Mo could turn himself into light. But forcing the entire world to do the same? That was a whole different level of problem.
Just as Su Mo from the Tiga world was starting to feel troubled…
The Su Mo from the Fairy Tail world rubbed his chin thoughtfully and spoke.
"Shining Tiga has appeared twice in total. Once in the main series, during the battle against Gatanothor. The second time was in the final battle of the movie, against Demagorg."
"Interestingly, the two transformations into Shining Tiga were quite different."
"The first time, Tiga absorbed the light of the children's hearts. The second time, it was the residual light left behind by the ancient giants."
"Which suggests that the form of Shining Tiga is only achievable by absorbing a massive amount of external light."
He finished his analysis and looked at the other versions of himself from different worlds.
"That got me thinking… what if I have a bold new theory?"
"Oh?" Su Mo from the Tiga world perked up immediately and grabbed his counterpart by the arm. "You mean you might've figured out how to become Shining Tiga?!"
"It's just a theory." The Fairy Tail Su Mo smiled modestly and then continued without holding back.
"Whether it's the children's spiritual light, or the ancient giants' residual light, both allowed Tiga to ascend into that shining state."
"So, it stands to reason—if different types of light can work, then perhaps even natural light can be harnessed."
"If we were to gather the full radiance of the sun, moon, and stars... is it not possible we could also transform into Shining Tiga?"
He put his hypothesis out there.
And instantly, the Su Mo from the Godslayer world caught on.
"To gather the full light of the sun, moon, and stars… That kind of power—wait, could it be—?"
"The most mysterious Grand Magic… Fairy Glitter?!"
"The most underwhelming Grand Magic… Fairy Light?!" Su Mo from the Tiga world and the DanMachi world spoke at the same time.
Only… they each called it something different.
They stared at each other for a moment but ultimately understood what the other meant.
Fairy Glitter. That was the Grand Magic's true name. Due to translation quirks, it's sometimes called Fairy Glitter, other times Fairy Light.
Out of habit, the DanMachi Su Mo referred to it as Fairy Light.
But because of the connection to Shining Tiga, the Tiga world's Su Mo felt Fairy Glitter was a more appropriate name.
Still, that was just a matter of semantics.
The real focus wasn't on what it was called —but on what this Grand Magic could actually do.
