Inspector Ratan placed a file on the table and slid it toward the Masked Detective.
"This case is from twenty months ago," he said. "A girl named Sanchayita Pandit went missing. No one ever found her."
The Detective picked up the file and flipped through the documents, scanning the details with sharp eyes.
"Thank you, Inspector," she said quietly. "This might help."
Ratan folded his arms. "What are you thinking? Do you believe there's a connection between Ishita's case and this one?"
The Detective didn't answer immediately. Her eyes remained on the file.
"Hmm… Maybe," she murmured. "But I'm not sure yet. I don't have enough clues to say anything for certain."
She closed the file and stood.
"First, I need to visit Sanchayita's house," she said. "If I talk to her parents, I might learn something useful."
