That kiss was special. That, at least, he could admit.
'Still, if she has obtained some benefits thanks to that kiss, does it mean I did too?'

"Why, Sorrow bless me, do you look unhappy about it?" Rea cut his thoughts short, summoning back his attention to her. "You should be jubilant, Kaden."
"About getting my power stolen?" He smiled sarcastically. "Aren't you right? Should I stand up and sing too?"
'Ah, I always do that, don't I? Stealing the power of others. But only I have the right to do so. Not others to me. At least, not without my magnanimous consent.'
"I obtained nothing but passive effects." Rea replied, rolling her eyes. "Nothing too serious, Kaden. So be happy, we got the opportunity to watch a goddess struggling to waft away darkness."
