Chapter 410 - Little contest
Morning came, the first ray of light bathing the faces of Kaden and Rea.
They stood at the entrance of the strange house, their eyes directed toward the eight mountains looming far away from them.
Inside the house, nothing was left.
Kaden had taken all the paintings — without looking at them, not even with his perception — the couch, and even the strange multicolored carpet.
He didn't stop at that. He pushed his greed further and snatched away the blue fire that was softly burning under the fireplace.
He told Blanche to take it. At first, the white phoenix was quite reluctant, finding the fire quite… revolting.
To her, Blanche described, that fire scented like rotten eggs would to humans. It was not something she wished to take within her.
But Kaden had been adamant, making the White Phoenix cry in injustice before finally obeying her master.
Though, she didn't absorb it, simply storing it within her.
Kaden didn't mind.
