"Alpha Magnus,"Lilith, the witch that Caleb spoke about bringing over to the pack, called sarcastically as she walked in accompanied by a number of guards.
"I didn't think I'd ever be called by the Almighty Alpha Magnus and his three heirs again to his pack, not especially after what happened the last time," she continued, rallying around Alpha Magnus.
"We need your help..."
"I know you do, otherwise, why would you stoop this low to call me to your pack," she cut in, anger etching her voice.
"We're sorry..."
"You think sorry is going to make up for the fact that my mother died in your dungeons, even after pleading innocent to the crime you accused her of?" Lilith snapped, her eyes glowing faintly with suppressed rage. "She begged. She begged, and you turned your back on her."
Alpha Magnus shifted uncomfortably in his seat, his shoulders tensing beneath the weight of the past. Caleb and his brothers stood silently behind him, each carrying their own mix of guilt and caution.
