"The alpha of the Nightbane pack is here, and he's insisting on meeting you," she relayed, head still bowed down.
"Darya? What is he doing here?" Alpha Magnus asked, and turned to Caden who only shrugged his shoulders with no idea.
"I'll go to meet him," Aria said, bowing subtly, her tone calm but firm.
Alpha Magnus raised a brow, exchanging a brief glance with Luna Seraphina.
"Are you sure?" he asked. "He came here asking for us."
"I know," Aria replied, adjusting the baby slightly in her arms. "But I have a feeling I'm the one he really wants to see."
Without waiting for permission, Aria turned and walked past the maid, her steps measured and composed, though every nerve in her body buzzed with the unease that name brought.
