Blazar crossed her arms, her jaw set in defiance. The morning light streaming through the windows caught the glint of her glasses as she fixed him with an unwavering stare. "You're overreacting."
"Overreacting." His eye twitched, a muscle jumping beneath the pale skin. "No payment. For the entire month."
The color drained from Blazar's face before flooding back in a wave of fury. "WHAT?!" The word exploded from her lips, echoing off the stone walls of his chamber.
