Lilith, topless, head buried in Vaela's closet, snorts. "That's old news. The Queen of Lysalith makes a habit of licking dessert and diplomats. I heard she once slept with an entire economic delegation just to secure lower import taxes."
Vaela laughs as she steps into a slinky black dress that glides over her body like sin incarnate. "You two are impossible."
"Impossible?" Elsuana asks.
"Divine," Lilith corrects, tossing a lock of hair over her shoulder.
Vaela snorts, but her eyes sharpen as she smooths the last ripple of fabric over her hips. "What about our two villains? I've barely had a moment to breathe, let alone eavesdrop."
