Mana - The core life energy used by Hunters and Demons alike. It's drawn from within the body or surrounding atmosphere and can be channeled for combat, healing, or enhancement. Mana color can vary by individual or species, with darker hues often indicating corrupted or demonic origins.
Sigils - Magical markings unlocked by "+" ranked Hunters. They're divine in origin—etched onto the skin through special rituals—and grant enhanced speed, strength, or resistance. Later revealed to be remnants of angelic power, only reincarnated angels can fully wield their potential… or so the world believes.
Runes - Ancient symbols carved into weapons, armor, and architecture. Unlike sigils, runes are static and universal. Often found in portals, training halls, and ritual sites. Hunters learn basic runic language early in academy training.
Ranks - The official Hunter classification system, ranging from E to S+. Ranks determine a hunter's strength, privileges, and mission clearance. E-Ranks are typically civilians or fresh recruits with no combat ability.
S+ Rank: Reserved for the strongest in the world—heroes or monsters.
E Rank: Baseline power. Most don't survive long.

Portals - Temporary gateways used by Hunters to travel between cities and demon zones. Require anchor runes to function. Controlled by the Guild, but unstable ones occasionally appear, leading to places like Limbo.
Limbo - A shadowy, unstable realm ruled by the Demon Lord Falros. Exists between the mortal plane and Hell. Contains mutated demons, time distortions, and cursed magic. Hunters rarely return from Limbo alive.
Demon Heart - The source of a demon's power. Extremely rare and volatile. A transplant can transform a human into something more—or less—than themselves. The heart inside Bren once belonged to Nythor, the Lord of Shadows. Demon heart has to be compatible with human host.
Trial of Death / Training of Death - An elite—and often fatal—combat test for new recruits at the Hunter Academy. Only B-Ranks and above are expected to survive. Bren, an E-Rank, was forced into this due to an unexplained system error… or something darker.
Hunter Academy - A militarized institution where new hunters train to battle demons before being selected as recruits for Guild's. Overseen by the Five Divisions, it separates new hunters by potential rank. Magic, close-quarters combat, and survival are the core disciplines.
Forest Vale Guild - A hunter guild located in the Verdant Forest, specializing in tracking and combat against demons in dense wilderness. Known for its skilled, tight-knit members and tough training, it serves as a key outpost for missions in dangerous forest territories
The System - A mysterious, semi-sentient magical interface embedded in reality. Monitors, ranks, and sometimes speaks to chosen individuals. In Bren's case, it seems… confused by his existence.
Synchronization (%) - A measure of how much Bren has bonded with the demonic heart inside him. The higher it climbs, the more powerful—and less human—he becomes.
Demonbound - An unofficial term describing a being caught between human and demon. Rare, dangerous, and typically hunted by both sides. The title Bren unknowingly embodies.
