Kyan's chest was still rising and falling fast. His lips swollen, his legs barely steady.
He was clinging to Nico's waist when he suddenly blinked like he just remembered something important.
He pulled back slightly, flushed and breathless. "Let go, my king…"
Nico raised an eyebrow, still cuffed to the wall. "Am I holding you?"
Kyan rolled his eyes, trying to stand straight. "Ugh—I meant we should stop."
He pointed at Nico's chained arms, exasperated. "I'm here to rescue you, remember?!"
Nico smirked. "Are you? Because it feels like you just condemned us both to hell—and I loved every second of it."
Kyan ignored him, rummaging in his pocket. His fingers wrapped around the cold metal.
