Chapter 200 - Chapter 200: The Eight-Tails Jinchuriki

After eliminating the highest-ranking political and military leaders of two nations, Satori Hyūga set off toward his next target.

The Land of Earth and the Land of Lightning were not directly adjacent. Between them lay five smaller countries—namely, the Country of Oboro, the Land of Iron, the Sound Country, the Country of Moon, and the Hot Spring Country.

These small nations caught between great powers acted as buffer zones separating the borders of the major nations.

In times of peace, they struggled to survive in the narrow gaps between giants—oppressed, exploited, and bled dry by more powerful factions.

During war, their situation worsened even further, transforming them into battlegrounds where powerful hidden villages waged merciless destruction.

Crossing through these smaller countries, Satori made a brief stop in the Hot Spring Country, simply because he had heard about its many hot springs.

However, once he recalled that he would eventually rule the entire world, knowing he'd have ample time to indulge later, he resisted the urge.

Entering the Land of Lightning, stepping foot onto its soil, Satori witnessed a unique spectacle.

Towering peaks reached toward the heavens, grand and majestic, with thick clouds blanketing their summits. Massive dark clouds gathered together, flashing brilliant lightning accompanied by deafening thunderclaps that seemed unending.

"No wonder this place is called the Land of Lightning. The thunder rumbles nonstop, not pausing for even a second."

Most likely, the nation's very name originated from the thunder constantly rolling across these lofty mountains.

Satori carefully observed the country's environment and quickly identified the cause behind all this.

The Land of Lightning bordered the sea, and year-round tidal effects brought in large amounts of moisture. These humid air currents were blocked by the mountain ranges, accumulating near the peaks and growing denser over time.

As years passed, dense layers of cloud formed atop the mountains.

Imbalanced electrical charges within those clouds interacted strongly with the peaks below, generating powerful magnetic fields and unleashing deafening thunderclaps.

From Satori's perspective, this towering mountain was practically a natural crucible for forging divine artifacts.

Unfortunately, this was the ninja world, not a cultivation realm.

Otherwise, just using this location alone, one could naturally yield countless rare and precious medicinal herbs.

Pausing to study the terrain like a geologist, Satori then made his way directly to Cloud Village in the Land of Lightning.

He intended to proceed with his original plan: to subdue both the Raikage and the Lightning Daimyo.

At this time, the Third Raikage A still held the position of Raikage in Cloud Village.

This was another legendary figure—one of unparalleled strength, wielding the fabled "Strongest Spear" and "Strongest Shield."

Yet such a formidable individual ultimately died from exhaustion after being besieged and attacked continuously for three full days and nights by more than ten thousand Iwagakure shinobi due to Onoki's conspiracy.

To Satori, this figure was quite intriguing.

Wandering along the streets of Cloud Village, tasting its local gourmet delicacies and fruits, and appreciating its scenery, Satori felt every ounce of patience and effort he'd invested had been worthwhile.

Look at him now—with power in hand, he could enter any of the Five Great Villages at will.

After randomly selecting a ninja and extracting the ninja's memories, Satori proceeded directly toward the Raikage Tower.

It was rather laughable when you thought about it.

Four of the great hidden villages idolized Konoha as their role model, emulating everything so thoroughly they almost became indistinguishable.

Other than changing its name, the entire village system was replicated down to the last detail, as if copy-pasted.

He couldn't recall the last time he'd been this speechless—except for, well, the last time.

Standing not far from the Raikage's office complex, Satori Hyūga quietly observed the passing ninjas, planning to capture someone and enslave them, to secretly support his planned ambush against the Third Raikage.

After all, the Raikage possessed the greatest physical prowess—one of the few elite Taijutsu masters in the ninja world.

In Satori Hyūga's estimation, the power of the Third Raikage A should be on par with Might Kai after opening six of the Eight Gates. And that was in his enhanced endurance state.

Just then, a ninja walked out from the building, catching Satori Hyūga's attention.

"Is this... a jinchūriki from Cloud Village?"

This person had long white-green hair and wore purple markings over his right eye. A large blade was strapped across his back, making him highly noticeable as he walked.

The pedestrians who passed by hurriedly avoided him, as if fearing they might catch some plague from him.

Instantly, Satori recalled this person's identity in his mind.

B, a Jonin from Cloud Village in the Land of Lightning, the current Jinchuriki of Gyūki, the Eight-Tails, as well as being the cousin and mentor of the Fourth Raikage.

This incarnation of B had not yet perished and remained active in Cloud Village.
